I'll give it a go, although it's more of "what I'd do" than what I think Contra will do. I'd try a more experimental team vs Finland.

I mostly agree, but we should test our real DM's, which in this squad are Anton and Cicaldau. Cicaldau being a more offensive option and Anton a more experienced one. Nedelcu will probably start as DM. I think the team is offensive enough with the 4 offensive players and a CM with offensive qualities. And we need to choose between Budescu and Stanciu...I'd go with Budescu for the moment.
Also, I'd trust Manea first, because we need a solid RB, our defence has sufferd too much against strong offensives and Bancu is already very offensive

He mentioned Keseru, Grigore and Moti as Foresta said. Therefore, he probably would have called them. Bad news. Nevertheless, I'm confident he'll drop them when better options are available, something we can't say is clear ATM

 

Let's hope the other players on their positions can convince him in these friendlies.

 

But didn't Grigore had some bad games lately? Maybe my memory is tricking me...

I just think we should think about the future now, it's not like we had huge success with these old guys (of course it doesnt mean it was only their fault we failed in the past 10 years).

Grigore was surprisingly solid... probably why he's still used. I'd expect worse performances from him given where he plays.

That's not to say I rate him. I think Balasa or Nedelcearu can replace him.

The Chile's Skipper has just a couple of Guys in uniform today that have played for the National Team at the absolute level.

So, time will tell if this, and the other 2 matches in Europa (Serbia and Poland) pay dividends for the Copa America in Brasil next year and the Qualies for Qatar thereafter.

Just a few hrs for the match, I will watch it at home with a couple of friends with my Amazon Fire Stick TV, with a direct audio and video feed from Chile.
