New season, new thread. PV isn't here, so I'll open a new one.
Partizan will be playing Shkëndija from Tetovo in the second qualifying round this time around. They're the current champions of the Macedonian league and won it quite comfortably, nine points ahead of second placed Metalurg from Skopje.
This is an Albanian club and I suppose we're almost assured of crowd trouble. Hopefully, this time around, the Grobari will have learned not to get their team kicked out of Europe.
The first leg will be played 12-13/7 while the second is being determined the week afterwards.
In other news; Partizan managed a 5-1-win over Rabotnički yesterday.
Youngsters such as Nikola Ninković (1994), Lazar Marković (1994), Darko Brašanac (1992) and Nikola Aksentijević (1993) all got a chance to prove themselves.
Marković scored for Partizan and got himself an assist as well.
Jovančić got two goals and Diarra opened the goalscoring after a howler from the Rabotnički goalkeeper.
The new season is underway.
