so...Zlatan, Cantona, Boban, Savicevic, Hagi, Pirlo :googly: are Gypsies? I have my doubts about that. :rollani:

Not that surprised about C.Ronaldo and Quaresma though. :lala:

It's Roma, not Roman.

And I have never heard that about Boban and Savicevic, where did you get that info?

I am 99% certain that neither is a gypsie. People say many things on the internet.
from the links I posted (which were posted in a thread about Zlatan on another forum which I dare not to mention here). Yeah it is possible that some Roma propaganda group has compiled these lists but I imagine they are based on something at least.

How about Guiza? Her mom is a gypsy and owns a bar in Andalucia.

The children of gypsies barely get a schooling. Boban has a university degree in history, correct? I was even told that he teaches.

Even though you could see them in the accoutrements of a gypsy, I doubt many of the names mentioned here have led the lifestyle of gypsies, i.e. living in a trailer.

I am not jumping to any conclusions, but I have seen a lot of gypsies and visited a few gypst neighborhoods so i can say I know gypsies pretty well by interacting with them and by appearance.

Mutu in my eyes can perhaps pass for a gypsy. Certainly it doesnt mean that he is by any means. I am just associating with what i know, and obviously one cant know everything.

C.Ronaldo and Quaresma also do give me some indication.

The only person whom would really surprise me is Banel Nicolita.

Did it surprise you that Banel Nicolita is a gypsy? Am asking becasue Nicolita is the most perfect example of what a romanian gyspy looks like, there isn't a better model for them.

Yes, Ricardo's father is of gypsy descent and although his mother is not born into the culture, she embraced it and he was born into a gypsy family.

His nicknames are aplenty, but the one you're referring to is Nosso Cigano Maravilhoso, which means 'Our Marvelous Gypsy.'

90% of the Serb national team ;)

Braco Cigan :)pp) on "Nocna Mora" claimed that Drazen Ladic, Sekularac, Shala are cigani and he claimed there are three currently on the Croatian national team (as of 2006) but he doesn't want to name them for their protection :howler: (my guesses: Srna, Babic and someone else :pp)
