I've already posted this before, but being in Pot 2 for the Euro 2008 draw is more important than eliminating England.

We should be hoping for a loss.

Its better to let the tougher teams eliminate eachother and eventually face them later on in the tournament.

The world will fear our team if we make it to the semis of Euro, regardless of who we face, so why not take the easier route there?

We should aim for Pot 2.

I agree that finishing in Pot 2 would be great, but we'll never get a better chance of beating England at Wembley as we will in this upcoming game. And that's a huge feather in any teams cap. We'd own England for a long time if we beat them at Wembley in such an important game. That's such an enticing proposition.

after today's debacle I don't care about co-efficients and pots and seedings I just want to see Croatia play like Croatia can on an actual football field and get a good result. I would love a win but will settle for a tie.

 

i think we will play much better in this match assuming of course the pitch isnt a mud slop..england has all the pressure in the world while we have already qualifyied..england also has key injuries..the english media and fans will probably think they will win this game for sure after we lost to macedonia..thats fine let them think that way because if they do they will get beat..

But we beat Italy, tied France (mornar missed an open goal to win it), played our butts off against Brazil. We play much better against quality teams
