I hate the international break. I literally don't care for any of the teams playing this weekend and I only watch out to make sure the Arsenal players are playing well but most importantly not getting injured. I don't know who has and who hasn't been called up, but I'm hoping someone as major as van Persie doesn't come back with a long term injury. We missed him quite a bit in those two big games because it meant we were lacking up front. Hopefully he will be ready for this game though.

We all know that Cesc won't be playing this game, and judging from his foul at Reading it was most likely an instruction from Wenger considering the away games to Villa, Newcastle and Middlesbrough are far from easy games on paper. His absence means that either Denilson, Diarra, Gilberto or Diaby will probably start. It will be interesting on what formation Wenger employs with Cesc's absence.

As usual I expect a win, and since Wigan haven't been good at all this season I'm expecting a comfortable victory. If we get the first goal early, this will be like the Derby game.

I would like to see Rosicky in the middle dictating play. :lick:

Maybe Theo out wide with Hleb switching to the left?
Diaby/Diarra/Gilberto need Cesc partnering them as they cant make us tick from the centre imo.

But we are realists and know that Adebayor will play and get some meaningless goals in a thumping to increase his strike rate.

Internationals are sh*t.
Adebayor's goal on Monday means that he doesn't have to score for another 10 or so games until he may be considered for the bench. I can't believe Wenger didn't give anyone else a chance after Ade didn't score for close to two months.

Yeah, I'm not sure what Arsene was thinking on that one.

Hes thinking 1 of my two starters is out injured, i must play my most experienced forward left every game until Van Persie is back. Eduardo isnt settled yet.

If hes buggering off to African cup soon, he wants to keep Bendtner and Walcott fresh, but also in their minds think FINALLY after months i get a game i'm gonna break the net!! :rollani:

Also if Adebayor did really turn Man United down in the summer, Wenger wanting to keep him as may become great might have said stay because i will play you alot more now Henry has left. If that happened :lick: He cant drop him for some youngsters.

Its like you all want Rosicky, Diaby or Denilson to play this game instead of Fabregas. If its not Rosicky, i think Gilberto will play because hes already made way for 1 youngster, hes gonna be pissed if another walks in front of him.

Rosicky as CM looks like a mouth-watering formation to me...

Yes i want this only with Eduardo instead of Ade. And we should win more than 2-0 Xinz!
i think arsene will start adebayor since he's in" hot form" from scoring his first goal in ages LOL.

we should win more than 2:0 but i think 2:0 will do it for me. tbh i'd rather win 2:0 then 3:1. i hate conceeding crappy goals against shit teams!
