With Djourou and Gallas there is a chance of a clean-sheet.

It will be interesting to see how some fan initiatives play out; namely, 20,000 fake 20 pounds notes being thrown at Cole plus giant blow-up mobile phones. He will absolutely hate it and it's something I think that is quite unique.

adebayor has got to start. alongside van persie. midfield hleb, gilberto, fabregas, walcott, defence eboue, djourou, gallas, clichy. bring on baptista if hleb or walcott isn't performing. aliadere should be on the bench coz we have a striker shortage. sorry fred on the bench 4 dis 1. denilson maybe and finally senderos. yea we can do this.

No point in sitting back, Chelsea are such jammy c*nts that they'll score somehow. 4-4-2, Manny and RVP up front, go for it.

 

We should beat this current Chelski team as it does not have the cohesion of the last 2 years, yes we are without Henry but we beat Utd without him.

This is a massive game and if we can gain the 3 points it will give us the lift we need to keep the players motivated throughout the holiday period.

RVP is an absolute must and if he can wave that magic left footed wand of his we should be able to score a couple.

Defensively we need to be resolute and win the first ball in the air. Will be difficult especially against the likes of Drogba, Bollock and Terry.

 

Defender Johan Djourou sustained a hamstring injury and is a doubt for Chelsea, while William Gallas has only a 20% chance of making the trip to Stamford Bridge because of his thigh problem.

Omg... that is horrible.

 

I don't know if Djourou is out or not. It says he only tweaked it, that's different from a pull or a tear. A tweak more or less means it was tight at the end of the game, but he hasn't hasn't played for a few weeks so playing two games in three days would've made it tight.

I have a feeling it's one of those injuries that you can play through, and they might have to pump him full of painkillers to get him through the game. But I also doubt Gallas is 20% to play anyway. Wenger said he was available for Porto but he didn't want to risk him. I'm sure it'll be Gallas-Senderos with Djourou on the bench.

 

Djourou-Senderos would really struggle v Drogba and Shevchenko.

 

Is Kolo available for the game or is he suspended?

 

Senderos would struggle not djouroru IMO.

 

Well apparently some say he is and some say he isnt.

 

Without either of Kolo or Gallas, it is anyways going to be very difficult to stop them.
