I think you guys liked him originally because he has the height but at the same time the Balkan technique. (as most players from our area are good technically)

From what I have seen, he does in fact have a great mix to his game and as a result that makes him a very valuable player. He doesn't seem to have a real weak part to his game, so all options are open. I dont know if he is very very good in any one area, you might know better than I do, but he definetley seems to be pretty good at everything.

Our A team is messed up, lots of things going with the FA that is not football related, so who knows what is going to happen there. There is no doubt though that he deserves a call.

 

The guy can definatelt play,Our NT has a great future with Dzeko,Ibisevic,Kucukovic,Salihovic,Pehlic,Dajic,Pandza,Ibricic,Memisevic. Of course that doesnt guarantee results because even with all that talent our savez will surely figure out a way to **** up.

Czech League is not bad at all and he is playing good there. If he gets discovered im sure he will reach one of the better teams in Italy/Spain/England/Germany/France

"Nope, noone contacted me."

You are very content in Teplice, right?
"I don't miss anything here. I'm getting a lot of playing time here, scoring, ad my goals are helping the team to earn important points."

How long would you like to stay at Na Stinadelch? (name Teplice's stadium)
"I have no idea how long, there in Teplice I'm almost one year. I don't want to leave, for sure not to go somewhere where I would only sit on the bench. And that's highly probable in case I went to Sparta, everyone knows that they (Sparta) are country's biggest and most important club. They buy a lot of quality players and there is huge competition for a place in the starting XI. But once you make it there (into the starting lineup), it's fantastic."

Do you have any other offers? There are rumours Besiktas, Parto, Werder Bremen and Hamburg are interested.
"I heard that sometimes some scouts are attending our matches, nothing more, nothing less."

You scored six goals. Are you content with this amount, or would you have wished to score more?
"Last half year I scored three goals, I wanted to beat this number and I did so. However important is that we are winning."

There are two matches left before winter break. How many points for team and how many goals scored by you would satisfy you of these two matches?
"I'd be happy if we earned at least four points. And I won't mind me not scoring any goals at all, as long as we will earn some points."

On monday you play at home against Slavia Prague. The match will be on TV, are you looking forward to show yourself to whole country?
"I don't care if the match is on TV or not. I'm always motivated enough for every single match. Slavia motivates me as a very well known and very strong opponent."

How hard are you expecting that match to be?
"Very hard. Slavia is away from home very dangerous, they won away 5 times this season. But we managed to beat Liberec aswell." (Liberec was table leader at the time Teplice beated them 3-0).

In the last autumn's, 17th matchday, you will go to play away at Brno. What there?
"To take at least point. It'll be aswell on TV, Brno is very strong, they have very good defense, they never concede a lot of goals."

In attack you played with Filip Dort who was now moved into midfield, now you are playing with Martin Fenin, who do you pair with better?
"Both are very good players, from our starting XI, and aswell very nice guys. Dort has very good passing skills, so the coach decided to put him into the midfield, he can make perfect final passes, we need his support. While Fenin is, like me, very young striker. Very talented, he scored already three goals. We play together very well."

 

I think Teplice is a perfect club for him atm, would be better if they make it to Europe this season :thumbsup:

Right now we are 5th I think, we had very bad start of season but lately we are playing very good football. As for the club, Teplice is one of the richest in the country with the best stadium here in Czech. But this season, they decided to rebuild the squad, letting most of our old and experienced players go, our coach is also assistant of coach in Czech U21 National team, and he is said to be the best with young players. As for Edin, he is better match by match, soon he'll be too good for Czech 1st dvision i think.

I dont think Zeljo will get relegated,they have good players and there are much worse teams in the league(Radnik,Leotar,Sloboda,Posusje),there is some talk that Vlada might come back to Velez over the winter break which would be great,but highly unlikely.

Match result was 2-2, at the begining I was very disappointed of Edin, in first half twice missed in a clear scoring chance and also while defending corner, he very untactically sent ball towards opponent who luckily mised empty net. In second Half Edina was pushed as top striker in 4-4-1-1 (started match as support striker) and was much better and more dangerous. and on 86th minute he send AMAZING cross from deep left to the right side of the area and another of our players equalised with unstopable header.

Now we have here winter break and football league will continue in February I think.
As for the goals, I hadn't much time lately, I'll try to check them and post links (hopefully) soon.

- Becka Austria je za transfer Dzeke ponudila celnicima Teplica 1,5 miliona eura. Medjutim, Cesi su se samo zahvalili Austrijancima, naglasivsi da obestecenje iznosi 3 miliona eura - rekao nam je Irfan Redzepagic, menadzer 20-godisnjeg Dzeke.U prvom dijelu sezone Dzeko je postigao sest pogodaka, sto mu je donijelo prvo mjesto na listi strijelaca Teplica, ali i interes velikih evropskih klubova.

No news about Edin lately, but another bosnian Samir Merzic who is playing in czech, will join Teplice's winter training camp. If he is succesfull, he'll be moved from 2nd division Usti to main club of FK Teplice on permanent basis.
