Coming off a good second half in Romania, I am hoping we can build on that and win comfortably. It'll be tough in Torshavn to break the opponents but I think we can do it. I'd like to see a 2 striker formation with either Gera or Koko leading the attack.

The boys in Torshavn:

Hajra magyarok! It's a MUST win.

Faroes don't totally park the bus like some other small countries. Finland found lots of space in their defence with quick passing combinations.

All in all, I think it's harder to play against San Marino, who just sit deep with 9-10 men. Faroes try to play some football when they get the ball.Scored against Finland and missed a penalty against NIreland.

I have to hope that you guys drop some points in this trip ;) But I don't think you will.

Disagree totally. San Marino pretty much always lose, and hardly ever score. The Faroes get the occasional result, especially at home - wins against Estonia, Lithuania, drawing against Northern Ireland... so for these kind of average/middling opponent, they can be a sort of bogey team. When was the last time San Marino got these kind of results? The fact the Faroes do try to play football, that just means they can offer some sort of offensive threat. The San Marinese offer nothing pretty much.

Well, it's true that they offer more threat, but as they like to attack too, it means the game is more open. And when the game is more open, the more skillful team usually prevails.

I'd say it can be harder to create scoring chances and keep the tempo up against San Marino, but it's harder to defend against Faroes.

Faroes are definitely more difficult to play than San Marino. SM are probably the worst side in Europe aside from Gibraltar and maybe Andorra... although they have quite a decent keeper (they'd lose by a lot more without him in most games).

I say 3-0 to Hungary

You should hear him on MUTV. He thinks he's Ronaldo and a tacticle genius.

Fans in the call ins ring up and make fun of him. It can be hilarious at times. They call in and give Paddy Crerand shit but they always respek him. He won a European cup ya know. Hard to imagine what's that like for an Arsenal fan, huh?

I just check info on the Faroe Islands, I didn't even know they were an independent country (nominally joined to the Danish), I thought they were like the Orkneys which is above Scotland.

Anyway, tomorrow is one of those near cakewalk (althought much much respect is given to the Faroe Islands) games that need to be won. See you there manana in front of the comp or tv.

4-0 probably will be there final score.

Yes I think he would be good in the middle. Gera and Elek both need a rest for sure. I'd like to see 2 strikers rather than 2 attacking mids. Stieber needs to take a seat for Koko, I'll say it again and again. I'd rest Juhasz and Kadar too, bringing in Korhut as LB and Fiola as a CB.

Lol.

Teams have a hard time there. I saw a game once a couple years back, France bearly beat them 0-1, in around the 80th min. Also players are not used to the turf ground.

But we have to win because Dardai says if we win then he guarantees a win vs Finland, also if he wins both games he will sign a contract with us :proud: He also says that the other thing is his wife has to say its ok :D

Id start with Koko as well this game. Id rest Gera and maybe bring him in if we need to near the end. We have to be carful because we got 7 yellow cards last game, Romania got 6 lol. We should also have Tozser start, and maybe try Fiola in the back, just like it was mentiond before, play our B team vs them, we would still win plus our younger players will get time and used to the style of play.

Dardai said that its going to be completely diffrent tactics, that we will start off attacking now and score an early goal.

Elek out of the game for sure. That's no problem. I'd give Gera a rest too and just have Tozser as the DM. No need to tire Gera out and risk injury for a game vs the Faroes.

No point in playing Gera. I don't see any good coming from it. I'd bring in Korhut at LB and give Kadi a rest too. Korhut is much more stronger n attack and can really help out on that end. Kadar and Varga didn't really do much in attack vs Romania, even in the second half, right?
