I want to dedicate this thread into "finding" Brazil's way out of the mess they are now.

WFA posted this http://www.xtratime.org/forum/showthread.php?t=349449

Abner Felipe Souza de Almeida

He's only 18 and Castilla signed him. He's dubbed the New Roberto Carlos. Can he replace Marcelo at both Real and Brazil(the best teams of all time). Huge responsability...

Keep them coming!!!!

No shocking, replacing Marcelo does not even count as success either.
But of course, Real Madrid never developed Marcelo in a decent player, so Abner is probally lost, despite being a really interesting prospect.

Marcelo has been the best left back of recent years. I think 2011 and most certanly 2012 he would be the most logical choice.

UEFA Team of the Year: 2011

FIFA/FIFPro World XI: 2012

He is a atacking wing-back and does a wondeful job.

 I'm never biased ;) You should have learned that by now :doh You stop using this argument when there's nothing left.

I don't rate a player just on a few matches but full seasons.

#20 ·
Nope...when ever do I say un-based things overrating Real or Ronaldo? I'll give you the answer , NEVER.
Even more so , I didn't claimed Marcelo had a great WC. So basically I'm underrating him judging by the opinions of experts. And you know why? Coz I'm never biased ;)

Have any of you heared of Kalani ?

#23 ·
Yep , is he the new Jean Chera?

Victor Andrade

Hoe is he rated now days? He caught the attention of Benfica when he was 11 years old and played there a bit , also was top scorer of the PaulistĂŁo U13 with 21 goals, and then of the PaulistĂŁo U17 with 13 goals.

In 2012 he was given a chance a Santos and played 19 matches scoring 3 goals.

Is he a future NT player?

Also what happened to Douglas Baggio?
Image

He had an overall record of 72 goals in 53 matches in 2012

Yuri Mamute

He was named the MVP of the Toulon Tournament last year at only 18 years old. How good is he at club level ?

#34 ·
Any further info on Erik Lima?

He was named Campeonato Brasileiro Série A Best Newcomer in 2014.

JCam? Ze?

Lucas Silva Borges is also a very highly rated brazilian talent atm. I first heared him from Ze , and then I read some rumours that Real want to buy him. I see that he was included in the team of the year in Brazil. He's 21 years old.

P.S. I know Ricardo Goulart is't young anymore at 23 years old but he never played in Europe and was recently named as the best player in the Brazilian National Championship. Is he a future NT player?

#42 ·
ricardo goulart already played for brazil.
he is good, but not that attractive on the eye.
he will make it to a secondary european team.... not the top 7 tier.

Lucas Silva is a classic Brazilian Dm, very elegant player. will soon be playing in the national team, if dunga is not stubburn to be keeping the brute force that he likes

1 - Erik showed some qualities. He is fast and smart. But also a Goiais player. Goias can be very tricky.

2 - Lucas Silva is a good player. Decent pass, good kick, needs more tackling power however.

3 - Ricard Goulart is not a "craque" and have already been called by dunga. He is more a versality foward-middle player, not very flashy or a dribbler, but strong and with good area presence. Useful tatical player.

But more importantly wich of them can be become world-clas players? I assume you watched them allot.
And btw , dayuuuum that Gabi Barbosa looks like a massive talent  I've read that at 16 , he had a release clause of 50 milion. He scored 21 goals in the top division this season and his compilations from youtube are impressive. I think he's probably Brazil's biggest talnets from u-21 players.

#39 ·
But he's only 18. What more did you expect from him by this age?
