Borussia Dortmund forum

Hello to all you fans of German football :)

Me and a friend thought about the idea of creating a Borussia Dortmund forum as we noticed that there are quite some BvB fans in XT. If you think this is a good idea and you want to support it, then please post in this thread and show your interest.

Thank you, Sascha

I'd support this idea aswell... though I am no Dortmund fan, I think it is a big club who will probably reach the elite circle of the clubs that won all european trophy once this season, a club that won the CL some years ago.
And a club that has the biggest fan base next to Bayern in Germany :)

Yeah, everything speaks for a try :)

Im no Dortmund fan as well, but offcourse id support the creation of such a forum and i will post in it for sure .Dortmund are a great club,a member of the G14 and they deserve a forum.

Very true:D
Their campaign this year surely will attract a lot of fans around the world

and one more reason,
they will be bundesliga champion this year hopefully :hopefull:

I also support to create the Dortmund forum.
I will post more there, at least more than I posted in Bayern one
;)

Dortmund ok (though, then there'll be even less postings in the german football forum).
But Leverkusen? Please NNNNOOOO!!! Who would post in that forum next season, if they're maybe out of the champ. league after the first round, and just on 4 or 5 in the bundesliga? Nobody!!

You are saying that Leverkusen might go out from round 1 of the UCL bcuz u think with the loss of Ballack and Ze Roberto they will suffer.......but u should know that Leverkusen are getting backups for the leaving players.......they signed brazilian international attacking midfielder Franca to replace ballack.........and are chasing Rebrov and 2 argetenian players.....as well as Frings...so dont worry about them....they will get good players and stay a good team.

I think jez is perfectly aware of Leverkusen getting Franca and some other foreigners next season, Marvin.
I´m against a Leverkusen-forum as well, who should post there? They have absolutely no loyal fanbase, zero, nada.

A BVB-forum on the other hand might be a good idea, with Sascha as mod.

If he's aware of that, then what logic is he depending on? If a team loses 2 players ,and get additional players to replace them, then he'll crash from 1st round of champions league after reaching the final hopefully?.....There is a great difference between a team reaching the Final and a team crashing @ Group Stage 1............anyway the forum idea has nothin to do with the way they'll play in the Chmapions League........its up us the fans weather we want one or not.

So it´s already decided that Leverkusen can cope with the loss of some important key players like Ballack and Ze Roberto.
I didn´t know that, I thought it still remains to be seen how Toppmöller can form a good team for next season, oh well... :)

Not reaching the CL-final next year can happen, believe it or not. Just like finishing 4th or 5th in Bundesliga next season can happen (with opponents like Dortmund, Hertha, etc...).
Like I said they have no local fanbase whatsoever, ridiculous to have a forum for them.

Btw, I haven´t seen any Leverkusen fan on Xtratime anyways, you really want to have a forum for some ppl who just like how they played this CL and would give up supporting them as soon as they get weaker?

I agree with MxPx here. Of course, there were plenty of posts about Bayer lately, but how many real fans do they have? I know a very loyal Leverkusen fan who admits that there are lots of glory hunters (like Manu ;)). And if they aren't as successful next season as they are in this one, a lot of people who have sympathies for Bayer might disappear. I don't say that everyone who likes them is automatically a glory hunter, but most people here just like them, but don't seem to be real fans.
I don't think they'll break down next season, at least not much. It was always said they'll do so, a friend of mine though they'll have to fight against relegation this season, but they usually don't have any big problems with that.

And of course I still support the idea of the Dortmund forum.

MxPx,its not that I want to have a forum for Bayer Leverkusen bcuz they played well this season, but because they have been a great opponenet in the bundesliga in the last 5 years and they have been a stable ,powerfull team,a title contender in other words.
In the end,i dont care if the forum was created or not,cus im happy we've got the Bayern forum which happens to be my favorite team ,but i will sure agree about creating any forum for a german club.

We shouldn't forget that a forum will attract more fans aswell... :)

About the BVB Forum, how many supporters do we have now? I think it is better to have some few true supporters than just people who say they will support it just for the sake of getting it :D, so I guess the number of supporters we have here is not that small, I wonder what the management think about it, I will have to ask somebody of them...

right, getting a forum for a team should consider how many fans around in xtratime. so lets see how many "gloryhunter" will join the German Forum later and then we can officially give the idea to the board;)

no doubt they are just a small club in Europe. Some people would think we dont even need to open any match thread for them.

Many people start to support a team bcoz the team's style of play(it is not the reason for me:) ) and they support the team since then. you may say your neighbours kids are changing their supporting teams every week. but how cant you see there are so mnay loyal fans on this forum. so because they have never achieved anything, if there are large amount of their new fans join us(IF only:sweeteye: ), they will be gloryhunter..?

and we dont know how well they will play next season. when Emerson and Beinlich had gone, people started to question about the team's future. Where are they now after one season? :proud:

:D yeah, I am off the topic again. Becoz of your idea, Marvin, your idea.. but I support it ;)
I understand the problem to create so many forums just for the sake of getting it(quoted;) ). It wont happen that soon.
I hope it will be created in the future.

I don't say it will happen - but it might happen! You never know how the new players will adapt to the team & the lifestyle in germany (you already said it...the new players will be from south america again). It won't be easy to replace your best players, but still to play as good as before.

What did Lev reach in the CL + UEFA Cup last season? The team wasn't much different to this season. If the same happens again next season, there will be much less postings about Bayer.
