What do you think? It`s a pity. I admired them before for going on for so long for not being sell outs and giving into $$$ for shirt sponsors (Unicef was fine though)....Barca sold its soul? This goes against one of the longest running traditions this club has.

--------
Barcelona have ended their 111-year history of refusing commercial shirt sponsorship by signing a record £125m deal with the Qatar Foundation.
The Catalan giants have paid to carry the Unicef logo for the last five years and the children's charity will share shirt space with the new sponsors.

I think Wenger will force Cesc to stay again.

Well at least there is one thing the bloody Barca fans can get off their high horse about.
Amazing how some people have such inferiority complexes to post such things. That and jealousy really serves no purpose.

Poor Unicef.....

Abandoned -half for Middle Eastern Money.

Next season... Full
Nothing to suggest that Unicef will be abandoned.

This deal is basically advertising Qatar as a whole.
IMO that has to be it.

There were other ways to make the money, come to FCB forum and you'll read about some of them. Yes, money is needed, but there were other ways.

Too sad right now.
Exactly. I mean that whole membership business was not only ****ing disgraceful, but a big dumping of revenue the club could have generated going forward.

More than a club.
Especially when compared to the likes of Valencia.

God does not make gifted players that often tho
No, but La Masia does.

Yes, but we don't wank ourselves off over how pure and special we are. We're not hypocrites.
Yeah. TGO just wanks himself off over how pure and special he is as a supporter of Man City despite the fact that he never goes to any of the matches even though it's in his own backyard.

We are also unbeaten against Barcelona.
That's some snooty bullshit. You know full well that we've beaten your Chelsea multiple times. Even when your boy Lampard was playing we still beat you.

Weird deal, not for Barca making it but I don't get what the Qatar Foundation are getting out of this. I mean it's a non profit organisation and a charity and they waste this much money on advertising? Really?

Then how come you support Chelsea? Oh wait, I forgot. You support both, and Birmingham City. Am I leaving anyone else out?

I go to as many as I can, but unfortuantely work most weekends. But I follow my side all around the country, which is more than you can say you yankee glory hunting shite.
Yeah, you follow them on the telly as they go all around the country. At least you confirmed what we already know.

I don't follow Barça all around the country because well, they don't play in this country. However I am a club member and last season alone I went to four matches which is four more matches than you saw Man City play in person.

Sure you did. I mean you're what, 12 years old? I'm sure you've seen 4 matches in your lifetime especially considering they're in your backyard.

BLAU move to Spain you tart.

And stop listening to the shins ffs.
No way. I'd starve to death over there. Although it'd be great to have place over there. I just looked into an apartment (buy) the other night actually. Found a nice enough one in what I'd say is a good spot, but it'd be financially ridiculous for me to go after.

I don't listen to the Shins. I listen to Broken Bells now. :shades:
