Don't know about you guys, but I get disoriented and/or disinterested by the transfer rumour topic quite often, so I thought I'd start a new tread, that could deal with what we find daily at various news sources.
The condition is, I propose, that you have to put the news in your own words and at most link to the story. No cut and paste jobs here.
So - a few tidbits here from todays tuttomercatoweb.it .
Molinaro (rightback who's playing at Siena in A) has renewed his Juve contract until 2011. He has apparently been followed intensely by Roma, and I think he will make a competent backup for RB. Very much in line with the new policy to give a youngster a return as reward for a job well done.
Giannichedda is said to be out after this season. Feyenoord one of the rumoured destinations for him. Also - Udinese has been mentioned earlier. Perhaps they'd like him back on a free. I believe his contract is up.
There's yet another mention of Almiron being virtually signed for us. Compared to Paro he is a much stronger player who also has good feet and could be the reference point as regards midfield posession in the current team. It's a player I really rate, but at the same time he doesn't have the offensive capability we would like to see. He is a tougher version of Cambiasso without as much of an eye for goal in my view. But if you look at him as an upgrade on Gianni... he certainly is. I just think Nocerino is going to get that role, but perhaps they'll loan Marchisio out, so that may be OK too.
Finally - and the time isn't even 11.00 in Italy...
The Huntelaar thing is mentioned as just about to be completed again. Actually they say that Ajax and Juve has already agreed on a 15million euro transfer... I take it that's an agreement in principle if that was true, as Juve would never make that deal before having settled the Trez situation.
Gazetta yesterday (including that as this topic wasn't there then
), claimed that Descha had gotten confirmation that he could choose a strong player for each chain.
Defence: Bazagli or Alex (please let it be the Brazilian!), Almiron or Gilberto Silva and Huntelaar or Toni for attack.
One would assume that was more or less made up though, as it is certainly dependant on a lot of others things.
The conspicous lack of a playmaker is a bit sad for a made up scenario though
.
