does everyone need an extra motivation to play against Brazil?

This stadium is of course better than the monumental. The fans are not so far away and i guess it will be more intense for Brazil than it is in River plate.

Less than two months for the game and I am already shaking everytime I think of it.

The confidence is frankly not sky high, terrible players selection seem that will continue by not calling or playing the right players.

Against Brazil, the Messi + Tevez/Aguero will not work, we need a tall and strong forward to match Brazil's monsters at the back.

I am sorry, I know I am hallucinating.

Great night for all of us, Estudaintes has won Libertadores.

They showed their true colours and made great comeback in second half.

Veron was vital. His pass started action for 1-1 and he put a great ball from the corner kick for a second goal.

I hope this is a great sign and just a begining for the game against Brasil.

Maradona is confident that we will beat the Brazucas in Rosario. He has been there in a tour and liked what he has seen, especially the way the crowds are close to the field which going to be intense for both teams.

The only thing that really disturbed me in his press conference is that he is thinking of calling Schiavi to replace Demi. I love Schiavi but he is too old for such games. His headers could help snatching a goal though.

15 days until the big night. Let us see what kind of surprises Diego talked about in the press conference.

Anyway, I am glad for the way Aguero and Maxi are playing. Aguero seems to have his goal scoring abilities back, his goal last night against Panathinaikos was marvellous, hope he repeates it many times against Brazil.

Finally some good news from Barcelona

Barcelona allow Messi to skip start of season
Lionel Messi will be allowed to skip Barcelona's first game of the league season to join up with Argentina for their World Cup qualifier against Brazil, coach Pep Guardiola said on Saturday.

Barcelona's Primera Liga opener at home to Sporting Gijon has been moved to Monday Aug. 31, because the European Super Cup against Shakhtar Donetsk is on Aug. 28.

If Messi had played, he would have been late to join Argentina's preparations for their home match against the South American group leaders on Sept. 5.

"The European Super Cup is on the Friday and at the end of the day it is the player who suffers in these situations," Guardiola told a news conference.

"He wants to play with Barcelona, but because of the FIFA regulations, he would have been cutting it fine to join up with his national team. I have given him permission."

Diego Maradona's Argentina hold the fourth and final automatic qualifying slot in the group, two points ahead of Ecuador.

Huge game in front of us. A win is a must, but we have to realize that one point is not bad either. with one point we ll still keep the 4° position even if Ecuador wins (we have a better goal dif). And in this round Ecuador has 2 difficult away games against Colombia and Bolivia.

Your games are tougher though..... us and Paraguay away.

I think Argnetina has to go for a win against us... a draw is not good looking at the points table and your schedule.

Hope we can beat you lot in Rosario.... it will be historic to get our qualification beating argentina in Rosario! :)
