From what they've said in the radio once he recovered in the pitch he had another collapse in the changing room, and then another in the hospital. Cardio-respiratory failure according to them, actually he was having a cardio-massage in the tv images when he was entering in the ambulance. All this info isn't official since there still isn't an official communicate from the doctors in the hospital, his agent has just said in the radio tehy won't last much in making it.

Logically after these collapses he's in the ICU, and I suppose the priority at the moment must be to stabilize him.


EDIT: Well, just heard Del Nido in the radio saying that taking in mind the seriousness of his state, it is controlled at the moment. So good news.

The official report from the hospital is worrying, he continues in the ICU and the doctors say his state is very serious.

-He enters in the hospital with cardio-respiratory failure, advance reanimation realized succesfully, he's kept with assisted respiration but with hemodynamic inestability, his state is very serious.

El parte médico facilitado por los doctores Calderón Osuna, Rojas Marcos y Miralles, que han atendido a Antonio Puerta en el Hospital Vírgen del Rocío, indica que el paciente ingresa en el servicio de urgencias del hospital Vírgen del Rocío a las 22.53 horas en parada cardiorrespiratoria. Tras efectuarle maniobras de reanimación cariopulmonar con éxito, se le pasa la UCI donde permanece en situación de ventilación mecánica con inestabilidad hemodinámica. El pronóstico es muy grave, no se dará otro parte médico a no ser que haya alguna incidencia durante la noche.

El parte médico facilitado por los servicios médicos del club que encabeza el doctor Ribas señala que jugador Antonio Puerta sufrió durante la primera parte del partido Sevilla FC-Getafe CF un desvanecimiento y posteriormente una parada cardiorrespiratoria de la que lo recuperan los servicios médicos mediante RCP. Se traslada urgentemente al Vírgen del Rocío, donde los servicios médicos se encargan de su tratamiento. Se encuentra en la UCI para completar las pruebas diagnósticas.

His condition has not improved yet apparently and he is still going in and out of consciousness.

This is scary and all my thoughts and prayers go to him. These things come out of nowhere and just shock us.

His estate is still critical and under intensive observation they said in Marca tonight, since there has been no update, hope he's recovering quickly ... I've once seen a player die on the pitch, that's enough for a million lifes.
