Based on our current performances, not high. We have good players but we cant make the best of it it seems. Thanksfully there is still a lot of time to fix it. Greece wins it imo, we shall fight for 2nd

I just cannot make out my predictions on this group for us in all honesty. We have a golden chance to qualify but yet still every away game in the group will be tricky to negotiate. I don't see a team in this group that we can't take at home, though. I think the amount of away points gained and home points lost is going to be the crucial factor to first place, in my opinion.

The top three have equal chances, while the Baltics are outsiders and could pose threats. Lithuania were second in a group, with France, Austria, Romania, and Serbia in the last WC qualifiers, for quite a bit.

out of top 3 sides, 2 qualified to last world cup and 3rd made it to playoffs. Neither team is big gun but top 3 is very competitive, with bottom three stealing points here and there.

and our next game shall be played in next 1-2 years. Thats a lot of time.
Btw i wouldnt blame him for that lazy assumption. In that game we played poor, defence without skrtel looked like disaster waiting to happen and our midfield was completely dominated by yours. And last but not least, i lost my avatar bet with dirlija

Absolutely. Riga, Kaunas, Athens, and Bratislava are not easy places to win at, they are tricky visits that BiH will have to make and the amount of points we can get from our travels could be decisive in our final position in the group, because I really think we should be winning all of our games at home.

At some point, and I am not sure when that will be, the young pieces of this Slovakian side need to come together and bring their collective game to the next level. Slovakia showed flashes at WC 2010, but inconsistencies led to Slovakia being eliminated. We shall see how things progress.

Like it has already been said, let's qualify for Euro '12 first, ehh?

good news is that core of this team is still young. In 2014, Hološko and Kopunek shall turn 30, Skrtel, Salata (I also add Guede) shall be 29, Kucka 28, Hamsik, Pekarik and Jendrišek 27, Stoch and Weiss 24. Plus a lot of promising youngsters probably make it into the squad meantime, like Kubik (25), Mak (23), Lalkovič (21), Gregus (24) etc.

Also, Durica, Vittek and Sapara shall be 32, Šesták 31, they can add veteran experience.

Only missing vets from 2010 squad shall be Karhan, Kozak (useless anyway) and Strba, and probably Zabavnik.

Karhan and Strba shall have adequate replacement in Kucka, Guede Kopunek or Gregus. Zabavnik is replacable by one of Lukšík or Hanzel.
