We are in Vienna to kick off our 2013/14 Champions League campaign against Austria Vienna.

Paulo Fonseca has called 19 players for the game with the big surprise being the inclusion of Marat Izmalylov. The Russian played the first three friendlies of the summer, but has not featured for even a single minute since then. He was on the way out of the club but we could not find somebody to take his wages. It's interesting because Izmaylov is a very good player, it's just that his injuries and age continue to push him out of the team. He may not even be on the bench as 19 means one guy won't dress, so we'll see.

The other changes are Reyes coming in for the injured Maicon(who was subbed off against Gil Vicente for Mangala), Herrera comes in for the suspended Steven Defour(sent off against Malaga last year), Izmaylov enters for Carlos Eduardo, and Fucile is added as an extra defender.

Squad called:

GK: Helton, Fabiano

DF: Fucile, Danilo, Reyes, Otamendi, Mangala, Alex Sandro

MF: Fernando, Lucho, Quintero, Herrera, Josue, Izmaylov

FW: Lica, Ricardo, Jackson, Varela, Ghilas

--

Injured: Maicon

Not Called: Carlos Eduardo, Kelvin, Sinan Bolat

FERNANDO - DEFOUR
LUCHO [C]

VARELA -------- JOSUE

Josue whips in the beautiful free-kick and Jackson overpowers Godin for the diving header past Godin!

1-0 FCP in the 16th minute!

A well deserved lead as we've controlled the first 15 minutes of the match, Jackson scoring on our second good opportunity of the game. I expect a strong response from Atletico, we need to be solid at the back here.

#21 ·
Beautiful build up play now as Jackson chests down a ball before Lucho smashes a volley well over the crossbar.

Keep up the good football, boys!

#22 ·
Helton begins flicking the ball over players. The Helton CL heart attacks begin. Please don't **** this up for us.

#23 ·
Josue picks up his standard yellow card per game. This one comes early in the 28th minute.

#24 ·
1-1.

Helton comes out to challenge for a ball that he had no chance of getting onto. Godin puts away the header on the free-kick.

Brutal.

1-2.

Retarded foul by Mangala leads to the FK for the goal.

Disastrous loss.

..and he's not a dirty Madridista :proud:

As expected, I've come back to trolling posts by Filipe and SCP less than 10 minutes after the game ended.

All three posts have been deleted and I'll gladly discuss with a CM/FM if either of you would like.

You just can't face the fact that when you don't have the refs in the pocket it's practically impossible for your corrupt club to do well.

Deleting posts cuz your arse is sore. Priceless. :D

#30 ·
You're talking to a fan of a club with three European trophies in the last decade. What the **** are you talking about not winning without help(your domestic implication)? :howler:

The King of Deleting Posts has the audacity to say that shit? What a joke.

#32 ·
That's better. Joshuazinho back to his best. When Porto steals for a living domestically he either turns a blind eye or even makes "funny" jokes about it. When his club goes back to normality in Europe and shows how average they really are, his pants get in a mess and starts crying like a pus$y. :D
