Where is Holland? werent they full of first timers on the U21 team that beat Serbia? I thought they were suppose to be a heavy favourite again this year

Ljajic, Aleksic, Savic, and Krsticic will all be bench players if they are called up to the final tournament. For now, Krcmarevic is only testing those players to see if they impress enough for the final squad. I'm pretty sure they'll both make it. I'm not sure about Savic, Krsticic, Ignjovski, and co.

The Italians have a strong squad. Giovinco and Balotelli could be a real danger on the attacking end. Our defense is not as strong without Rajkovic par say.
Can anyone comfirm that Subotic is not allowed to play for our U-21. Idk what the rules are with playing for the U-20 squad.
I know of players that have played for one countries U-17 and then for anothers U-21. Etc. So, wouldn't that be the same with USA's U-20, which isn't Uefa competition either?

I honestly think we can top this group if we get the right tactics and lineup in order. I'm most excited to see Kacar, Tosic, Ljajic, Aleksic, Sulejmani, and Tadic. I think all those players are potential stars. I'm deeply dissapointed that FIFA rejected Kuzmanovic to play for us. I think they need to change that rule for the future. That could have been great exposure for him and it would have been nice having him + Kacar control the midfield.

If Subotic decides to play for us, he's in the same boat as Kuzmanovic in regards to not being allowed to play for our U-21s. Subotic has already played for USA's U20 team.
Anyways, I think it is a blow not having Rajkovic, but the likes of Tomovic, Pejcinovic and Jovanovic will have to step it up.

Yeah, that's what i'm saying...BUT
USA U-20 doesn't play under UEFA standards. This is a "UEFA" tournament. Kuzmanovic played for Switzerland's U-21, so he's not allowed to play for ours. But this is a whole new idea. I think Krcmarevic should put this issue in front of FIFA and see if we can change their minds if they've already rejected us. I haven't read anywhere that he isn't allowed to play for our U-21 as well.

It kind of sucks that we will be without our two youngest and brigtest defenders, Rajkovic and Subotic. One becuase of a "spitting incident" which might of never happened, and one becuase he played a under-20 game for the U.S, whuch is on a totally different continent(not UEFA) and it wasn't even a under-21 game but rather under-20. There goes FIFA trying to screw us over again. Fuck them.

We won in Belgrade, while it ended in a 1-1 draw in Belarus.

The game in Belarus was a joke. We were missing half of the players we have now and the other half were a joke. Honestly, if we don't make it out of this group then it will be a sad day for Serbia as we are clear favorites to even win this whole damn thing. ;)

Don't forget that Kuzmanovic isn't allowed =/ lol
FIFA and their stupid rules.

A player can't change a team he plays for once he has a cap for a certain NT. That's so idiotic. So, a teenager like Bojan Krkic for example who doesn't know shit about life chooses Spain early from all the pressure and then a few years later down the road he feels his Serbian spirit kick in like it did for Kuzmanovic....That's just idiotic for me. Ooh well. Don't even get me started with the youth competition controversy.

Any one can translate this article? Thank you very, very much in advance
