man comeon, this shit is hilarious. i cant stop watching and laughing. the icing on the cake was when he called him a dog (kalb). hero indeed.
Don't get me wrong, Bush's reaction and smile was funny and especially Al-Maliki's calmness! He didn't even flinch as to say "Oh God! Not one of these again! I thought I told 'em to take off their damn shoes at the door!" But that doesn't take away from the fact that it was such a classless act. Is this the way you want your country portrayed in the world? "Hey guys your President is welcome to visit anytime! Just make sure you have that special protective bubble around him in case we have shoes being thrown by so-called educated journalists!"
Like I said before, believe me I ****ing can't stand Bush, his policies [Domestic and Foreign] and his dumb ass antics! But this is not the way to behave especially when we're going through a transition and arguably the most important time of our country, and it's freaking Bush! The dumbest President on earth to put on the spot and embarrass, just ask him a few questions about the economy and watch him entertain you with a few "Uhhh's" and "Ohhh's"! This is not Clinton who's answer would make you look like a fool! It's Bush for God's sake!
If this guy wanted to be seen as a so-called hero and if he got balls then let me see him do this exact thing in a neighboring or another Arab country! Let me see him try this with Hosni Mubarak and lets see how quick he can turn around without a bullet in the forehead! Let me see him try that in some of these Gulf countries and their amazingly full of grace and fairness rulers! :rollani: But nooooo he'll only do it where there's
some kind of Democracy present? and because he knows sooner or later he'll be freed because of U.S. intervention, and btw I read that the U.S. Gov. already issued that they would like him released soon. This guy was
probably paid by a certain party [Baath] to do this and it's so sad that he sold himself and embarrassed his co-journalists and countryman.
Sorry for the long paragraph but I just wanted to give my two cents.

you may find this hard to believe, Bush is a hero to millions too in Iraq, in the place i grew up he is the most popular man in the world
Actually you might be surprised. I have a few Kurdish friends and their opinions have changed, because of his silence regarding the tension on Turkish-Kurdish border, but I'm sure he'll still find a few supporters in Kurdistan.
