D. Milito took a shot, it rebounded off a Colombian defender into the net. I think they credited DM for the goal and not an own goal.

Congratulations, beautiful game from your team. I value Messi as being better than Robinho. Riquelme did well in the first half, but not so good in the second.

Aside Crespo, doesn't Argentina have another great goalscorer? D. Milito doesn't seem a super star.

2nd half wasn't good but it's 4 goals 3rd time in a row. nevertheless argentina has to play a bit better to win with teams like mexico or paraguay.

hopefully crespo will be fit soon as milito seems not to be in good shape now.

still pity aimar hasn't been given proper chance to play, i would switch him with veron - not that juan doesn't play well - just to see how it works.

one thing.

temperature effected the play in the second.

fuc@#$%@#$% that guy who hit messi in the neck.
he was out of the game after that hit.
i felt i was waching a hockey game with all the forchecking.
sooo nasty from el colombianos.

veron was ammazing.
cambiasso sucked with his passes. but good tackeling
macherano was at his best as usual.
Diego milito will bouce back i have confidence in him.
Gabby should work on his areal ball should get smarter

I think Crespo's injury eliminated any chance of seeing Aimar tonight. How about Heinze ? He was sucking on a bloody rag for about 30 mins. Roman the Enigma continues to baffle and delight, and Messi the Warrior ran all over the field (still in search of a midfielder to feed him at the right moments).

Basile did make adjustments w/Veron and Cambiasso - so I think Fangio wasn't blowing smoke. :flirt:

..we walked again, I know must be like hell there, because even the colombianos looked wasted, but one thing is dominating while creating chances with no hurry, another passing time since the first minute of the second half...more attitude against better opponents..o hacemos las valijas...
so far Coco's plan is working, as long as he doesn't get measianic with it...

The lack of concentration, indulgence and attitude sometimes Argentina shows since loooooooooooooonnnnngggggg is something to be worry about, once we put a rival in nap mode, is easy that ourselves also fall in nap mode ...I hope was only the heat the reason.

Regular es una cosa, ser indolente, es otra.

This argentina team is a disgrace! The coach is shit. Is there any chance basile gets fired if he won't win this? I hope argentina gets knocked out and basile will lose his job.
This guys has no clue about what to do with all this players. We saw in every ****ing game that argentinas defence is pure shit! And he still is the most devensive argentina coach since a long time. To play with 3 DM's against two of the weakest teams in this tournament is simply laughable. And some of you guys really think he's a good coach? He has Aimar and Tevez on the bench, what else do you need to push you opponent in his own half for the whole game? But no, basile still thinks that this piece of shit Veron can play a good game. Take this guy out of the team, he can't pass for shit, he's loosing the most balls of all players and he simply doesn't link up well with riquelme. Veron and Roman can't be on the pitch toghether, evreyone can see this. Chuchu should be out as well for the same reason. This team spirit is shit and wont get better as long as basile is the coach.
I hope argentina loose the next games big time, preferably to brazil!

We all know Veron will retire soon, but what have you seen of Lucho to rave about. We'll be just fine when Maxi get back healthy.

Guys what's wrong with you all :confused: !!! I still have faith on Basile and I believe he can win this Copa for us, also he can go further with the team in future, I really agree with Fangio on every word he wrote.

So far we are playing with only single forward and in the both games we scored 6 goals using the only forward, the rest two goals were scored after Tevez came in the last minutes, I know we can do better than that but at least we are winning with a good margine and this is good enough for us.


I like Basile and his hair style as well:D
