I have only seen this one place so far but according to this article we have bought out Treviso's half of Massimo Gobbi and we now share him with Cagliari.

'Fiorentina biedt op De Jong'
Fiorentina heeft bij Ajax een bod van drie miljoen euro uitgebracht op Nigel de Jong, zo meldt de Italiaanse krant La Nazione. Volgens het medium bedraagt de vraagprijs voor de middenvelder vier miljoen euro.
Fiorentina zou inmiddels ook contact hebben opgenomen met de zaakwaarnemer van De Jong. De Italianen willen het talent nu al vastleggen om te voorkomen dat hij komende zomer transfervrij naar een grotere club verkast.

Fiorentina has also made contacts with De Jong businnes guy(don't knwo how it's called lol). The Italians want to contract De Jong now so he won't be going away for free next summer.

Anderlecht midfielder Cristian Wilhelmsson has again expressed his utmost desire to join Fiorentina.
The talented Sweden international is wanted by the Serie A side but as yet, negotiations have yet to yield a positive outcome.
Whilst Anderlecht are demanding €7 million for the Scandinavian wide man, Fiorentina are reticent to up their current offer of around €3 million.
However, it has been reported that a clause in Wilhelmsson's contract would allow him to leave if an offer of €4 million was put forward - with the player desperate to make the switch.
''I'm convinced Fiorentina are the right club for me,'' said Wilhelmsson to Le Soir.
''The town is superb and the supporters are fantastic.
''Today I am at Anderlecht but I can't guarantee that I'll be there tomorrow.
''I'm asking myself whether it would be better to go now or in June, especially with regards to the World Cup.
''However, I'm a player who can adapt easily and I don't think a move would compromise my call-up.''

Yeah, what a name... Maximus Hunchbacks... I have read that he and Parravicini, apparently a very good young DM from Treviso, will both arrive in June.Pavel said:I just hope this guy will ask to be reanmed then, Antigobbi would sound much better.
If we bought his half, he'll still play at Cagliari?
As some have noted, we seem to be pretty close to getting Wilhelmsson or Jimenez. I can't really see us getting both, I imagine Wilhelmsson is first choice.
For the defense I am hearing Bonera and De Jong. If we were to get Bonera I guess our standard defensive line would be...
