I was thinking, what kind of players do you guys want to see leaving Fiorentina during the summer?

What about the River Plate player that said a little while ago that he wanted to play for us (because we were the team Bati played on). I think he was a d-mid, but not sure. Not that I necessarily want him (don't know him well enough), but just listing players I've seen us linked with recently.

Others are Marchionni from Parma (who we almost owned a few years ago), and the two Atalanta youths. Any others I've missed?

How much would Nakata be earning? AT THE VERY least i think we should restrict his wages and up his goal bonus or something so he thinks he's getting a good deal. Might actually be the motivation he needs, doubt it though!

OUT:
Cejas, Fantini, Viali, Delle Carri, Savini, Guigou (wtf has he been doing), Helguera, Rigano' (lets look at it properly, 2 goals for the season was it!?).

IN:
Frey/Abbiati, Bonera, Bovo, Baros :)

player from River
Cant remember his name, but he is capped, young and has a VERY good rep. From what ive heard on the net, its "crazy" why he would want to come here and not somewhere like Inter or Rome in which he could apparantly easily set his sights on.

I say scout him ASAP and if he's got the heart to play now and lives up to expectations, then why not.

I think the player you are referring to is Javier Mascherano. He is a highly rated defensive midfielder. Last i heard was he had signed for Corinthians but may be on his way to Chelsea. I havnt seen him play but from what i have heard is he is quite good.

Thats him. A DM would be a perfect signing, with the depature of Di Livio and all. People's thoughts?

i like all the speculation but in reality i really think we need to change the team as little as possible. like bringing in 2 or 3 new starters maximum. Our biggest needs are obviously:
1. center back
2. wing back
3. keeper

If we can fill 2 or 3 of these we should be in good shape.
If I was management i would bring in ZERO midfielders and ZERO strikers.
Bojinoz + Miccoli + Pazzini + Maresca + Jorg = very ferocious attack. no improvemnets needed there.
Bringing in Baros, for example would be a big mistake i think.

rigano' has been very useful, especialy the first half, where as he dont score as much as in serie B but if you look at the matches, its he who always won the duels in the air and assist to miccoli, who was jeered for his goals, but rigano had a great deal in them too... i dont say we should hold him, because it wouldnt be fair, he wouldnt play because of pazzini-bojinov are better options. But if he wants to stay lets hold him who knows he can be of importance, and if he wants to leave , let him go.... he earned it, let him the choice

Loan him out possibly. I think keeping him with us would be taking the spot of someone else, say a primavera player.

I remember seeing him v Lazio and he chested the ball down and miccoli followed through. But thats about all he was good for, we dont REALLY need him unless an emergency happens.

Rigano's wage is probably as much as I make so there is no real need to offload him. Same goes to Di Livio. If they want to continue we should keep them as long as they can be used. Di Livio ran probably more than anyone yesterday and he said that he still enjoys football.

I agree with Niko. We need to get rid of the worthless scum such as Guigou, Helguéra, Piangerelli etc etc...

He was mystic yesterday. He will be 40 soon but made several moves and runs like young stud. I was amazed

Rigano is also ok. His heading is good and he can is ok substitute player in Viola. Anyway better than Fantini or loaned out Vryzaz.

If Rigano wants to stay with us, I have no qualms with keeping him, however he's not going to get much playing time, and I suspect that he would want to be on the field (though he's fairly old for a player, my understanding is he only started playing proffesionally late). I expect he'll be either sold or loaned out.

Di Livio is the old soldier who has been through the battles, and if he decides not to hang it all up yet probably won't be insisting on playing either. He'd probably be happy with taking part in the practices with an occasional appearence on the field and just playing the role of leader.

Do we still own Vryzaz? He was just loaned out?

I second that, Guigou was such a disappointment

I was sure we sold him on. Cant confirm this though. I would have thought we might have considered bringing him back after our dismal start to this year.
