0-0 is a decent result for both teams

Vardar parked the bus with their 5-3-2 formation :D They will need a lot of luck if they are to go through using the same tactic during the return (home) leg though

I read somewhere that tickets are only 100 denari so hopefully there will be a solid crowd next Tuesday night

For now it's Rabotnicki's turn to make us proud on Thursday night as they play in Latvia vs Jelgava

Rabotnicki suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat in Latvia but they managed to overcome the same setback last time vs Estonian opposition so they still have a chance

Vardar vs APOEL tonight at 20:00 at the Phillip II Arena

Vardar's coach is saying that they won't park the bus again btw :D

Vardar lacks a real and good striker. too bad, this APOEL isnt like it used to be...

now Rabotnichki on Thursday, our last team in Europe.

at least for once our main stadium was crowded and there was a greta athmosphere.

the last moments of both halfs:

APOEL aren't the side they were when Trickovski etc. played for them but they were still the better side over the 2 legs

Vardar imo still have too many players that are good enough for the Macedonian League (not very hard) but not good enough to make an impact in European football

Hopefully Samsonenko realises this and gives the board a bollocking

Rabotnicki overturn their first leg deficit and won 2:0 at home

They go on to play Trabzonspor in the next round, the Turks are favorites but they did just struggle to get past a side from Luxembourg, I think Turkish sides are still in pre-season mode

The exact same result over two legs as their first qualifying round tie vs Flora :D

Rabotnicki as per usual in Europe are beating the teams they should. They have beaten solid teams in the past (Debrecen, Anorthosis) but they are yet to claim a scalp of a big team in a big league so logic says that Trabzonspor will be a bridge too far even if they are still in pre-season mode...

If they manage to overcome Trabzonspor over 2 legs then it will be the biggest win in the clubs history!

Rabotnicki vs Trabzonspor at 20:00 CET in the Phillip II Arena tonight

Even though Trabzonspor weren't overly impressive vs that team from Luxembourg, they come in as overwhelming favourites

A win for Rabotnicki will surely be the best result achieved in the club's history

What a win by Rabotnicki!

Didn't watch the second half because of Hajduk but it looks like Trabzonspor woke up and started to create chances while Rabotnicki didn't do much. Will still be a tough task for Rabotnicki, but importantly they didn't concede an away goal and if they can score in Turkey they will have a chance. But as usual with ex-YU sides, they will probably bunker for 90 minutes and hope for the best

RabotniÄŤki :proud:

Cue the 'RabotniÄŤki - the pride of Macedonian football' quotes :D

Trabzonspor had a few chances to make it 1-1 but Cardozo wasn't his clinical self. That said, RabotniÄŤki could/should have made it 2-0 through a header from Anene. Overall, it was a fair result though and RabotniÄŤki only started really defending after 63' when CDM Trajchevski replaced Iljoski (a ST)

Historic win but as HS said, this tie is very far from over!

It is all dependant on Trabzonspor really. It is obvious that they have better players. RabotniÄŤki will bunker for 90 mins in Turkey and try to get a counter attack goal but if Cardozo and co. don't underestimate their opponents again and play sharp non pre-season football then they will stroll through.

It is also important to note that Trabzonspor have a lot of players out through injury and extended leave who i'm unsure if they will play the return leg
