Why does'nt this surprise me that whenever watching Inter play This so called Defender seems to be looking for his next Victim.I cant wait for the Day for someone to measure him up nicely,Perhaps Vieira will give him a few chops.

You based this on what game the last time? :D Just because Gattuso has acted like an animal the last matches (which we have been saying when you all jump on us about Materazzi), doesn´t mean you should defend that by looking for someone worse.

It´s obvious you just wanted to provoke after seeing the reaction from some people after Gattuso´s idiotic tackles and punch yesterday. Get over it man. We have Materazzi as our butcher, and you have Gattuso.

Be consistent atleast in the player bashing.

Football should be leisurely passion and I'd hate to think that supporting Inter isn't a passion but a disease.

I'm not going to defend Prancing Horse because outright baiting Inter fans is plain stupid and pointless. Gatusso deserved his red this morning because all the praise has gone to his head, with any luck Carlo will kick his petulent silly behind and fine him a reasonable amount.

But just listen, Materazzi is an unique breed among professional footballers, can we not agree at least on that? I mean, there's a difference between tactical fouls which all serious teams adopt and what Materazzi does. It's not really all that subtle a difference either - one is arguably an unpleasant and cynical part of modern football, the other tries to hurt someone if he could get away with it. Once is an accident, twice is clumsiness and from what I remember, 6 times is just approaching criminality.

And you´re also describing Gattuso as he has been acting for several years.

I KNOW Materazzi is a dirty player. I admit that. But what I don´t understand how people can be so cynical and condemn us all the time, when their own team has GENNARO GATTUSO!!!!

The guy injured Maini in the first game. He had a smilir tackle against Bologna. He had one tackle yesterday where he went with hus dubs into the legs on a player, and of course the punch in the face.

So get real here a bit. Materazzi is a thug and so is Gattuso.

Come on Jimmy, you cant possibly compare with al the bias in teh world, Rino's way of playing (and he is a ball winner, remind you, they usually do and play teh same way) and even his last night performance with teh well deserved red card (by the way, have you noticed that all Milan fans have said that - do you remember what half of Inetr fans were saying each time we discuss Matrix ... "Well done, keep going" to name just one) with all we ahve seen from Matrix which is simply criminal as intend and is rearlyt as a result of one second frustration and stupidity (which was Rino;s case). Cant possibly compare these two ... :(

And you can´t possible say that this was a once in a lifetime thing made of Gattuso.

You think any Inter fan would say "Keep going" if Materazzi caused a red card? Of course not! But YOU Milan fans has condemned us for wanting to keep Materazzi and whatever else. So how´s this different? Should I condemn Milan for keeping a player that plays like Gattuso?

But then again, it seems you guys haven´t watched Gattuso for years and actually don´t consider him a dirty player. :wth:

POINTLESS!

I cant do anything else here but quote Glen from minutes ago in teh Milan forum on the same topic:

Glen said:
Gattuso IS a thug. Materazzi is a bastard. Not the same thing.
Pointless??? I dont think so. Quite sharp. 10 out of 10. None has argued the oppsoite here an dthere from us Milan fans. Simple "not the same thing".

Gattuso is hot-headed and his deeds are always blatant while on the other hand Materazzi is a more vicious player, often comitting career-threatening faults he hopes to go unoticed. That makes Materazzi worse than Gattuso, but they're both scumbags regardless!

Ciao.

Jimmy alot of gattuso's challenges have alot to be desired for I wont argue against that,But in looking at materazzi in his aerial challenges as well it's clear with his Intent. There are several players we can name I guess who are culprits of rough play.

Like Nesta, the king of the abit-too-rough-but-without-anyone-noticing-it-tackle :D

BTW, good work even if it was you guys. :D Nice to see a Serie A team show one of the bookers unmotivated favourites for the UCL how the game is played.

But do you see any Milan fans saying Gattuso is a scumbag?
I have, but all to often fans are overprotecting of him. Now I have critisized him this year (before the red card) becuase he have had more bad tackles than he had in general last year. I agree with what Politician said about Gattusso, it seems like the praise he has recieved have got over his head. Dare I say that he has even worked less than last year...

But if I have a complaint to Inter fans it is Senna's thread where he PRAISED Materazzis attacks on players and not one single Inter fan said anything against that. I would have hit down on a Milan fan that said something like that like an sledgehammer... and I have.

Materazzi is often very calculative in his tackles, shoves and whatnot and this paints a very bad picture of himself. He fully deserves the flak he is getting right now because he simply refuses to change his style of play and instead, has gone on to do more each successive game. IMO, Matrix is one of us but he is a threat to any opposing player, not because of his great defensive skills, but more so because of his notorious fouls.

As for Gatusso, well we all know what he has been like all this while. ;)

Ciao,
Tim

I read an interview with Thomas Helveg a few weeks ago; the reporter asked a question regarding unfair opponents.. the answer was quite surprising at least to me: Helveg said that Tacchinardi is the most dirty player he´s ever been up against.. Alessio´s reputation among colleagues is that he´d be more than happy to destroy a career as the referee looks in the other direction, but he´s very good at hiding his acts of bullying.. a juventino butcher in disguise.. isn´t that just typical?

I agree Laudrup Tacchinardi is one of the dirtiest players I've ever seen some of the things he's done down the years leave alot to be desired.Jimmy when a player is playing for a club you wont get that many fans really rubbishing him until he's gone.:)
