Just some corrections:

-Lodygin wasn't free, we paid 800k for him.
-Bruno Alves was 5.5 million
-Shatov's price is unknown, I strongly doubt that it's 10 million. 5 million is a much better guess.

 

Zenit linked with Eduardo Salvio from Benfica according to OJogo. Your opinion, kleber?

 

All over the internet saying we have been in talks with Benfica for the past week and have now made an offer which Benfica have said they will now release the player to. No mention of the fee but when googled on previous stories and other clubs like Arsenal/Spurs been interested a fee of 30 Million Euro has been mentioned.

The thing is, all of our recent signings have been done and the press have not speculated about them before hand. The first official announcement on some of them have actually been on the Zenit site with no previous speculation at all!

Everytime the foreign press link us with someone we seemed to not buy them - Osvaldo, Damiao, Otemandi and Vukinic just to name 4.

The Portugess press did correctly get the Hulk and Witsel transfer stories right before they broke so I am not ruling this one out yet.

As soon as we got Witsel last year Kleber went and got a Zenit top with Witsel on the back and he also got a Zenit Bowl with Witsel in the middle which he gives to his Pet Donkey Miguel when he wants a bit of Water.

He is our very own proper Zenit fanatic and will be organising travel for all Portugese Zenit fans for this weeks CL match against Parkers Ferrari.

Looks like the Salvio transfer might be happening, somewhere in the region of 30-40 Million Euro from Benfica to Zenit.

He was fit to play yesterday but didn't play with this possible impending transfer.

 

kleber, Hulk isn't going anywhere. The club in good financial condition to hold him, he is the key player of the team and fan's favourite. Probably Hulk will play as CF if Salvio signs for us (Both Bukharov and Kerzhakov aren't good enough). Bystrov can leave during next transfer window, he lost his starting place in the squad.

 

Spalletti was asked about Salvio in his press conference and basically confirmed our interest in him.

Says Zenit have signed someone from a top Russian club. Wouldn't give details. Willian maybe? Eremenko?

 

I reckon we have completed a deal for either Willian/ Salvio/Eremenko and it well get announced straight after the match.

Spalleti doesn't want it to interfere with tonights match.

I'm not ruling out Willian, all other Anzhi players who have had speculation have gone within a matter of days. Seems strange despite strong interest from England nothing has happened yet.

I don't know about Eremenko. Where is he going to play? Shirokov is too good to take out of the starting lineup.

Lots of different variations, we got so many Russian players available now there can also be some rotation available to us, plus Shirokov has said he wont renew next year, don't know when his contract is up but for example it could be up in January 2014 which means he could leave in just 5 months, he could of course change his mind, heis currently showing the form of his life.

Lodygin and Smolynkov as this moment at time look absoloute class signings.

I still stand by if Lodygin keeps up this form for 1 season he will be the Russia number 1 keeper.

You cant ignore this form if kept up for 1 season.

 

I don't remember Shirokov ever saying that he doesn't want to sign a new contract. It's actually Zenit who haven't offered him a new one yet.

As for Lodygin, yes, he's playing great but there's no way he'll displace Akinfeev as first choice keeper. You gotta take your CSKA hater glasses off, Akinfeev is world class. Here's a stat for you. Over the last three seasons:
-With Akinfeev CSKA concede 0.8 goals a game
-Without Akinfeev CSKA concede 1.6 goals a game.

And it's not just Chepchugov being garbage either, when Akinfeev was hurt and CSKA brought in Gabulov the stats still hold up.

 

People are saying that we've agreed on a three year deal with Cardozo with him earning 3 million a year. We've yet to reach a fee with Benfica though, we're offering 10 million, they want 15.
