my answer is "no" too.
i can't believe we'll qualify. and it's not just because of with this draw at home against azeris. beating twice wales which is in great shape seems impossible too nowadays.
that's euro2004 qualifications Dejo ! that's not a training camp where you can make neverending tests.
this team simply doesn't know how to play, what to do, what kind of pass to make, who to give the ball and where, etc. these guys each time i see them seem lost on the pitch. we have a great luck to possess some excellent defenders! sometimes i don't even see a difference between boskov, djoric and dejo. furthermore, as them he manages to get rid of some key players, i.e kezman... and they manage to make them play worse than in their clubs making us wondering how they could be starters there. how they do that ? what's their secret ? simple : incompetence.

what worries me is that dejo and piksi are good guys. but they're both not qualified for their jobs. that's a general problem we haven't first division qualified coachs, no NT qualified coach, no FA qualified president. i don't even talk about the rest : qualified assistants, physiologists, teachers, etc.

can i imagine kezman's feeling when he leaves eindhoven and guus hiddink's science to fly to belgrade and dejo 's poor amateur minded football ? i can imagine his shame he feels when he quits a dejo training program.
then imagine each player state of mind ... where can you find determination, motivation, concentration, fighting spirit ?... when you know the football you play is crap and the guy standing up on the bench telling you what to do is not even worth 1% of your club coach. you give no credit to him, no credit to the FA, no credit to the NT. how could it be different ?

i won't copy/paste my long post in the s&m-germany thread but concerning dejo, i think it would be a problem for him to be assisted by some experienced guy. these 2 guys couldn't find an agreement for lines-up, tactics, programs, etc. it's already too difficult for dejo to find one with himself...
i think an experinced guy would see very soon that he's better qualified for the job than dejo and t would make their cohabitation even more difficult. the assistant would want to lead the team and rule everything cause he would see dejo is simply incompetent for the job.
piksi is too naive due to his inexperience. he brings important charges to a inexperienced man. building a squad can't be only made with good will, good friends - even reliable ones - and good conscience.
this charge needs a natural and unarguable leader. milutinovic is an expert. he's well-known for his psychological approach of his task. and he's simply and generally a good coach.
someone like that is really needed. someone whose authority couldn't be contested. how many times he's brought mediocre players and disorganised teams (and even FAs!) to international level ?!
