so now it stands:

Barca 76
Atletico 76
Real 75

all teams have pretty easy schedules so a single slip-up might prove fatal

maybe I'm delusional but I still have a feeling Barca will take this

yeah, Villareal and Athletic are still in the CL race...well I have a feeling Real will take 3 pts at home vs the Yellow Submarines without much problem but Atletico might lose points in San Mames. In fact I kind of expect they will.

I support the team either way. That said I'm not confident of their ability to win the league. I'm more confident after watching a match, like yesterday's for instance, based on what I see. Still there are some questions marks and they've let it get too close. The good news is that we created a lot of chances, and good chances at that, against Valencia and so that is encouraging. On top of that we've suffered some soft and even unlucky goals. Still results matter and while the current form table isn't indicative of the team's overall play or level the points are what matter.

What I find disgraceful are questions surrounding Lucho. Sure he's not perfect and the guy makes mistakes, but if you watch the matches from the past month the players themselves need to take their share of the responsibility. In particular I'm frustrated with both Iniesta and Messi. They're not at their best and both are players who in the past, like last season, came up big when the chips were down. On top of that one of them is the captain while the other is the vice captain, yet after the first goal yesterday it was Pique playing that role.

The team definitely needs to be improved next season in terms of depth and there's plenty of room to get rid of a lot of dead wood (which would also trim down the wage bill) and bring in some quality players. In fact we could sell a good six players (even a seventh depending on your take) in the current squad (more players who are out on loan as well) and fill that void with four signings and two "canteranos". The problem becomes getting the players you need while also getting them minutes they would want. Lucho is big on and actually pretty good at rotating though and in midfield in particular we could accommodate a top signing.

Real and Atletico still have big games in CL to deal with. If Atletio wouldnt be in CL semis right now i would back them but this massive tie against Bayern takes attention and energy from la liga.
Real is unpredictable really.

We should look at their game fixture in remain and see how may points each team could get!

Remaining fixtures in LIGA TOP3:

Barcelona==========Atletico Madrid========Real Madrid
Deportivo (a) -13th====Athletic Bilbao (a) -5th===Villarreal (h) -4th
Sporting Gijon (h) -18th=Malaga (h) -8th======Rayo Vallecano (a) - 16th
Real Betis (a) -14th====Rayo Vallecano (h) -16th=Real Sociedad (a) - 10th
Espanyol (h) -15th====Levante (a) -19th======Valencia (h) - 12th
Granada (a) -17th====Celta Vigo (h) -6th======Deportivo (a) - 13th

Barca despite of their dip in form, their remaining are rather easier (a bit) than Aletico and Real

Real with another late away win in la liga thanks to Bale.

Atletico host Rayo Vallecano shortly. Torres, Griezmann and Saul rested, among others.

The commentator is saying that griezmann scored a minute after coming on. I think it was less than a minute.
