Player of the day

Hot bombers, young talents, interesting people... Discuss or just post a name

Jaroslav Plasil is player of the day for me. He has got a call to our national team and be prepared to watch him. He's 22 years old, almost regular starter of Monaco, DM. He has skills, he's also hard working. He was always OK with '21. I can't wait.

David Limbersky. He knows exactly how to reat when a ball comes to him. He has good skills and stood out for me in the FiFa Youth World Cup.
I've seen him once for Plzen, but it's a long time. I hope he will play in Modena more often. He is just a 'sub' for 5 minutes. :(

Did he impress you at that age?
Not much. I noticed his talent but he wasn't anything special. I found another talent in that match, young defender Knakal who was later bought by Sparta. He is still on loan to Plzen. Limbersky was just a talent for me.

Oh what a super talent I found! I had watched him against Sparta (good) and then in highlights of the 2 next rounds (good as well) and I was looking forward to watch him live again in Synot - Slavia match. I told my classmates about him. They were laughing but...

...he was outstanding against Slavia, he scored a goal and made an assist and helped Synot to win 4-2. His name is IVANA. 22-year-old Slovak player. My new football love...

I unfortunately missed that match because I had to go to my football practice and then I missed also BBV. That's his only goal I haven't seen. Was it good? Btw he's only 20 years old, not 22 like I posted.

yes it was great. he has runned from large box to the penalty-spot. Someone crossed from goalline, from right side (he stood in the place large box meets goal-line) . He met it running just on the penalty-spot and coolly headed to top right as goalkeeper went left. Great goal

And even on Monday he could have scored more times. His accurate header was saved by a miracle save of Cerný and he tried a great bicykle kick later too. From what I remember from highlights he has had few good shots outside area. His right foot seems to be very accurate. I can't wait watching him again.

What do you think about Tomáš Jun?

Well I am afraid that you will not see him anymore playing for Synot. Did you hear something about Synot problems? Maybe they will be relegated after the season so no more GL or even second league. That means no more sponsors - no players - no Ivana.

Jun- he used to be like "headless chicken", but I think that he is better and better and he was very good this season

I will write to this thread names of players, who I expect to grow into a star and nobody here has spoken about them yet. I've always been good in searching new stars in our league, I found those players always earlier than they went to Sparta. ;)

Milan Petržela born in 19/06/1983 playing for FC Slovácko (Synot UH). He was awarded the best player of tournament in Nová Včelnice this weekend (there were 4 teams) and he also impressed (fans of Synot and me only) at the end of the last season. He is really something special. He is very agresive player, not as much as Gattuso but he runs like Filippini of Palermo for example. But that's not his main weapon, he is very good technicaly so he owns 2 good qualities. I don't know about any other czech player like him. Maybe Plašil of Monaco is a bit similar. Yeah Plašil is that. So remember this name- Milan Petržela. I will bring other future stars soon.

Czech talent

Czezh's have a reputation for breeding technically good players, Nedved, Rosicky immediately come to mind. What about ones that are coming through now? David Limbersky who's on loan at spurs has been talked about as the next nedved (often an unwanted tag "the next .....") although he hasnt played for them in the 3+ months hes been there. What do people think of him and who else is coming through. Thank you
