Summary of the past few days -
Shakhtar-Dynamo on Apr.22 was postponed because Shakhtar protested on the appointment of a Ukrainian referee (in addition to the fixture congestion). YET, again the same referee is going to judge the rescheduled tie on May 13. It's simply not possible to find a qualified FIFA referee from top leagues free of duties at this time of the season. Shakhtar is furious.
If Shakhtar-Dynamo ends in a draw, there needs to be a replay but there's no date for. One team has to vie for the UEFA Cup a week later and there are three UPL rounds to play after May 13. The cup final is scheduled for May 31.
All the international players must be released on or before June 1 (Ukrainians and Croatians among them). If Vorskla advances to the cup final, both the league and cup fixtures must be completed in May, in a fairest manner.
Dynamo heading for the UEFA final would solve many of the headaches (plus Ukr. cup final, then "CW" will be known on May 13). Else, we'd have to suffer from all the b*tching and whining from Donetsk. :googly: - Provided Dynamo would win the league by Rd.27. -
