Tomorrow we face Bucaspor for our first group match. Hopefully we don't have another "Inegolspor" tragedy.

Delgado is back on the roster and is expected to play.

BTW this will be the first time that Bucaspor plays one of the big 3 Istanbul clubs.

 

Two good things with this game, the performance of Delgado :thumbsup: and the red card of Baki. I hope that he gets 4-5 weeks ban so that we dont have to stand to watch him couple of weeks.... p

 

5-1 to Besiktas. I wouldn't expect anything less considering Bucaspor had about 5 players from their PAF team playing.

Good start on the Turkish Cup campaign.

This game resembled last year's final game sort of... Game played in Izmir against a "sari-lacivert" team.

Ricardinho is fantastic. His recent performances have laid rest to any previous speculation regarding his talent.

On another note, I hate the Turkish Cup. It is a sad sad pathetic excuse of a subsitute for the UEFA Cup. It just makes us wait a bit longer for the TPL games. In FM I always get my assistant manger to play them until we make about the quarters or semis.

Nobre is such a waste of a starting eleven spot. 14th minute and he has so far missed two open goals. But I love watching matches with no fans, you get to hear the players and coaches screaming and saying some pretty funny shit

Besiktas beat Ankaragucu 2-1 while Gencler beat Rize 1-0 away so Genclerbirligi and Besiktas go through as 1st and 2nd, respectively

 

Great that we survived, since i couldnt watch the game i cant say much about it. I dont think a game in front of empty stands is much entertaining...

 

1/4 final 1st Leg - Wednesday 31/1/07 at home vs Vestel Manisaspor

 

Let's see if we can keep the momentum going and beat Manisa again. We face them tomorrow at home for the 1st leg of the 1/4 final. The game starts at 20:00.
