As if Turkish hooligans aren't just as bad, or as racist as all the hooligans. In Turkey, stadiums get torn apart (Diyarbakir et al), in England, the closest you get to a stadium being torn apart is the Hillsbrough disaster, and even then, that wasn't over violence.

Domuz,? ahhh love bacon, could do with a bacon sandwich now.

Damn seems like you two would support england all the way if we were to face them? :googly: it's like me supporting USA over Turkiye just because I live here :wallbang:

And I'm sure when the english morons make that chant they have good intention, yes  I want Servet to choke slam rooney.

And cuneyt what about hooligan thugs from teams like milwall and leeds?

I would hands down support Turkey over England and have done in the past if they face each other, they're the team of my origin. However, it doesn't stop me from rooting for England against other opposition as I've lived here all my life and I love the city I live in to the core.

Thing is, hooliganism isn't particularly bad here anymore. It's mostly the reputation that's stuck with England because of some of the idiots (who are now not allowed to travel abroad or attend games for life) who carved the reputation. Leeds generally don't have bad fans, the Galatasaray incident was a one off. It could have happened between any club, any fans. Unfortunately, the two innocent Leeds fans died admist of the actions of idiots who chose to burn the flag, but I think the same would have happened if an Italian team burnt say a Croatian teams flag in Croatia.

You may get the impression I'm sticking up for the English, and to an extent I am. It's not fair that they let their own media butcher them and glamourise hooliganism with non-fictional films such as Green Street and Football Factory. I just refuse to sit here and believe our fans are cleaner than clean and let racist Spanish fans, facist Italian fans, corrupt Croatian fans, brutal Russian fans and reverse English Dutch fans get away with it.

I'm not saying it doesn't happen here, because it kicked off in my area earlier this season. West Ham vs. Millwall wasn't a pleasant sight, neither anything you'd want to be caught between, but again that was the first time something of that magnitude had taken place in an eternity. Mostly because it was under-policed. Cut backs in a recession eh?

Millwall are renowned for their garbage fans, much like West Ham's ICF were huge yonder ago. Generally, despite idiots, how often do you see top flight fans kicking off in the UK? I mean a few weeks back, a few fans put up a Glazer banner at Old Trafford and they were peacefully ushered out.

Point of all of this is, take a look at Turkish fans and incidents and match them up to English fans (to a further extent British, Celtic - Rangers fans) and there isn't much difference between the two nations. Both have had a shameful past and to say our fans don't cause trouble when they go abroad too is a lie. Football shouldn't be a hate fueled sport, but unfortunately at some levels it is. I just resent that everyone always calls out the English (and vice versa when it's from the othersides point of view) and all the while, dirty fans from Spain, Italy, Russia, Argentina and Brazil just get swept under the carpet.

Give me a break. Tearing apart stadiums is a lot less harmful then some of the disgusting racist chants that the english do. Every night in Marmaris last summer I'd see an english men with his teeth kicked in, or his head cracked open. Not the entire population, but that pretty much sets the tone for their fans.

Or how about when rooney had some bullshit about "eating some turkey" on his twitter status before the BJK game. Again it just sums up the the arrogant foolish behavior that is infested in that over rated league and its fans.

Here's to ****ing england

Soner, you give me a break. I know you're capable of decent discussion when you want. You go basing your entire opinion on the neanderthal Ingiliz fans you see trolling the streets of places like Marmaris, Ibiza, Ayia Napa etc. It would be like me saying Turks are disgusting because they organize gang violence in North London, terrorize little kids and decent residents all around Wood Green and beyond becuase they're animals. I don't base my entire opinion of a group of people just because a minority who cause trouble exists.

I've also said, I'm not denying there are retarded English fans, because it's impossible to say there isn't. As great of a football player Wayne Rooney is, there's no doubt the man is a shitting retard and most resembles that extinct member of the **** genus, but it's a shame that decent folk who've done a lot of English football get forgotten. Especially for arsebandits like John Terry, Wayne Rooney, Gazza, Collymore etc. It's odd to see the likes of Totti or Aragones get away lightly with some of their disgusting behaviour in the past, yet the English always get the stick. Just because they're an easy target and I think Turkey is exactly the same. Abroad our reputation is that of animals mostly and it's not true, when there ARE decent Turkish fans as well. Just look at Carsi and the Eskisehir fans, two decent sets of fans (mostly.)

You bum La Liga and Serie A so much, remember how Italian's reacted when Inter signed a couple of Turks? They hated it. No one said a thing.

Nevermind, afterall neanderthal's inhabited both England and Turkey, so you may have a point. We're all animals.

(P.S. - The Beckham picture is hilarious, I don't know if you were attempting to get a reaction, but I was laughing when that happened in '04 :D)

Just like we ****ed Bosnia, Belgium and Spain over hard. Capello catlasin. :D
Bosnia and Belgium, fine, but don't ever compare a team of class like Spain to england please. Sanki england bi bok beceriyor. Their league is owned by, coached by, and filled with foreigners.

In the last 10 years our national team has been much more successful then england has.

Pretty much whatever the draw is, we should finish top two guaranteed.

There are some teams from pot 3 who, if we don't improve and if they're on form, can pip us to second spot. But overall you have to say that no matter what the draw is if we don't finish in the top two it will be a major disappointment.

I'm not labelling the entire fan base. I'm just basing my opinion on a majority of the English fans that I've encountered. I know not all of their fans are hooligans, I made that clear in my first post. Turks organizing violence in northern England is a whole other topic, regarding issues with minorities, not just Turks.

There's a reason for this label the English fans have created for themselves. I'm not saying all, but a majority of English fans I've encountered have been some of the most racist, arragant shits ever.

Italian's have a player in their league that salutes hilter every single goal that he gets. The difference is that Italian's are much better at behaving when they're at major tournaments and visiting another country.
