So far I've heard Olcan Aydin, Özgur Cek, both Yigits in Manisaspor, Amrabat being rumoured to us. Interesting to see who'll join and who won't.

Let the winter transfer season begin..

Batuhan and Alper Potuk also. I don't see Batuhan happening only because BJK has that clause of paying 5 million Euro if he's ever sold. Fatih Terim wants Batuhan badly though, he loves those types of forwards. Alper would be incredible and halil unal is kissing the ass of every Istanbul club looking to sell him like the whores bulent uygun found for halil unal himself. bulent uygun, pehh the same guy who preaches religion talking about yarrak this and yarrak that, fukkin pig.

Alper would definitely be a good buy, but I dunno we don't need him right now with Melo and Inan in midfield. Would become the same as Sezer in FB.

Sure if he would want to start at the bench from the beginning and work his ass off to the first team I'll gladly take him. But as young as he is and having the best deep-lying playmaker and the best DM in the league in the same team, it would be pretty tough for him to get a starting spot.

Batuhan I've always admired him, I'm sure FT would love to make a Hakan Sukur out of the kid (type of player, not personality :D) We have some problematic players in our team and Batuhan wouldn't be much of a problem for FT, kulaklarindan ceker adamin

Some of the post-match statements regarding transfers:

Fatih Terim : "Ayın birine kadar transferlerin takıma katılmasını istiyoruz."
Abdurrahim Albayrak: Türkiye`de genc yerli kaliteli isimleri aramiza katmamiz gerekiyor.
A Albayrak: Başkanımızın yetkisine rağmen, Fatih Terim büyük paralara transfer yapmak istemiyor. Başka bir hoca balıklama atlardı.
A Albayrak: Reyes'in maliyeti 50 trilyondu. GS formasına çabuk adapte olup, katkı sağlayacak, başarıya aç oyuncular arıyoruz.
A Albayrak: Melo'nun futbolu Galatasaray'da bırakacağına inanıyorum. Herkes tatile giderken , O İstanbul'da kalacak.

Could do with some cover for Elmander.
Even if it's short term and not a great standard player, just someone who can come in for the rest of the season when he's out or tired and play a similar target man role and make a decent job of it.
For the long term, 5 milllion euros for Batuhan is worth it but a little risky as well.

"Galatasaray-Kayserispor düellosunda dün söz sırası Kayseri cephesindeydi. Ankaragücü ile oynanan maç sonrası Nordin Amrabat’ın durumuyla ilgili konuşan genel menacer Süleyman Hurma, Cim Bom cephesini kızdıracak açıklamalar yaptı. Amrabat’ın durumuyla ilgili fikirlerinin değişmediğini ifade eden Hurma, “Amrabat gitsin de göreyim!” diyerek, Galatasaray’a meydan okudu. Hurma şunları söyledi: “Amrabat konusu artık iyice sabırlarımızı taşırdı. Vermeyeceğiz, göndermeyeceğiz diyoruz ama anlayan yok. Eğer Amrabat, Kayseri’den gidecek olursa bile kesinlikle Galatasaray’a gitmeyecektir. Herkes burada canı istediği takıma gitmiyor.” Hurma, Galatasaray’ın oyuncularının aklını çelmeye çalıştığını tekrarlarken, “Bizim sözleşmeli oyuncumuzun aklını çelenler, bir gün kendi oyuncuları ile bunu yaşayacaktır. Son sözümüz budur” diye konuştu."

This dude is a BOSS, I wish we had a guy like this to stand up to the shit that goes down in this league. People from one club getting into a players head fukking him all up and then expecting a transfer to be done whenever they want it.

Suleyman Hurma and Ilhan Cavcav, 2 ****heads who acts like dictators, they are azizes nr 1 köpegi and deals with their players as they are some slaves.

Sure big teams comes knocking on the door to buy a player so what? You can't make them stay in their team just cause YOU as a president wants it. It's not like GS did anything when atletico bought Arda and Mehmet Topal went to Valencia. They ain't slaves, these guys are footballers, some of the presidents in this league are disgusting pigs who sees their players as dollar marks cause that's the only thing they can think of, no wonder guys like ilhan cavcav and suleyman hurma is totally against this kume dusurulme so they can get azizes dirty money for their overhyped players :yuck:

Kayserispor is just butthurt for the ali turan deal, according to the rules you can speak with any player whose contracts is about to expire but yet it's "ayip" according to kayserispor :howler: let's send UEFA/FIFA some mails and say "hey guys let's change the rules it's ayip if players want to leave and other teams want to sign our players whose contract is about to expire, cause we want 20 m euro for some coban who has played a couple of good games and now is the biggest talent the world has seen "

they can keep their worldstar amrabat, I rather have this Yigit kid from manisaspor.

btw anyone remember labinot harbuzi in genclerbirligi? he just left genclerbirligi. Although he started great and played very good for them he said he wanted to leave genclerbirligi and try his luck in a bigger team but ilhan cavcav wanted too much money and cause of that he was forced to stay as the slave he is :hopeful: now he managed to break free from that dictator ilhan cavcav

turkish football in a nutshell; - "money,money,money"

/rant off.

I've been willing to post this in a while about these two dictators so it's by no means an answer to your post graves. I get it teams want money for their players but yani bokunu da cikartmayin how many turkish talents goes to european teams directly from anadolu teams? Not many cause of the prices these guys want. I mean we sold Topal for mearly 5,5 m euros then we hear stuff like "SERCAN YILDIRIM 10 M EUROYA SATMAYIZ" when someone like Elmander is 10x times better and more cheaper. Laughable.

Bull, obviously you want to interact with a player and see if he is keen on the move before starting negotiations with a club. I fail to see how it fuks someone up to get in contact with him and ask him if he wants the transfer. Its not like it is being kept top secret, we got in touch with him and he was positive so our board got in contact with the Kayseri board. Same with Ali Turan GS got a green light from him and offered Kayseri but they rejected. Its not GS's fault Kayseri overprice their contracted players and slap ridiculous price tags on them. Its like get married to a girl, you like this girl but she doesn't know so before telling her you go to her parents and askvthem if you can get marry her. Oh wait, yeah. Smaller teams for you, smaller mind frames.

I know how it feels like when a team buys your star player but this is football and no player is bigger than the club. For you guys sezer left and for us arda left but look now GS is top of the table and eskisehirspor has been rock-solid this season and could definitely go to europe next season. Obviously there will be some players who will stick to the club for their whole lives but if they don't want to then let them go, rather that then forcing them stay and play like shiet 'cause of their morale being down which leads to team playing bad.

BTW I doubt Amrabat will come, we play with 6 foreigners on the field

------Baros------Elmander-------
---------------------------------
Colak------------------------Kazim
----------Melo----Inan------------
----------------------------------
Balta---Ujfalusi---Semih-----Eboue
----------------------------------
------------Muslera---------------

Whose spot is he gonna take? I think even FT said something similiar about the 6 foreigners we have on our first 11 so we'll probably end up with a turkish winger. Gökhan Töre would be a dream come true, but I rather see him succeed in Europe. My guess is Yigit or Olcan.

If I'm not mistaken GS didn't approach the player, I think everything started with Unal Aysal or FT (don't remember who) said that they would love to see Amrabat in Galatasaray and when they gave Kayserispor an offer they didn't like someone from their yönetim said something like give us 5 m euros, eboue, elmander and if melo wasn't on loan we'd want him too :D

obviously trolling but still I wouldn't be shocked if they wanted 10-12 m euros for him

I wonder how much Gaziantepspor would want for Olcan though, 8 m euros for tabata, 6.5 m euros for köybasi I would guess around 7 m euros maybe? :drunk:

Amrabat, if I'm not mistaken, has a contract until 2014 or 2015, so it actually is illegal to approach the player without permission from his club.

I don't know why Galatasaray persists on going this route with Kayserispor when they know what the reaction is going to be. If you just deal with Hurma the way he wants, he'll play ball as long as you offer him a decent fee. Hell, he even takes shit players off of your hand in swap deals.

I have a couple names in mind:

Forward:

1. Muhammet Demir - Top talent.
2. Turgay Bahadir - Imo a good back-up for Elmander. He's got a similar playing style as the Swede.. both of them are extremely hard-working and tall, so he could fit our system.. his contract runs out in 2012. Doesn't cause any problems for sitting on the bench.

Wings:

Olcan Adin

Midfield:

Alper Potuk or Orhan Gülle

Muhammet Demir is too injury-prone, I don't know.. if he could stay injury free he'd be a good transfer. Turgay Bahadir, mehh he would be OK, nothing special.

BTW apparently we aren't after Amrabat anymore according to our yönetim. Good, now can we please stop going to gayserispor for their overrated players :yuck:

@graves

the guy is a psycho :D he can't sit still in any GS game, from basketball to football. He even said something like basketbol futboldan cok farkli cok daha heycan veriyor birgun basketbol maclarini izlerken kalpten gidecem heycandan :howler:

I'm not keen on using system with two forwards who don't even score that much (even if Elmander is effective and Baros is good in a supporting role), and on 2 wingers who are either invisible or beyond ineffective. I'd sacrifice Baros for a quality winger. Bahadir seems like an "ok" backup for Elmander and we're not risking much but he can as well turn into another Serdar Ozkan. Overall we don't need another striker that much hence it could be just someone by definition being a bench material, and it'd be ok to have Turgay in this sense, but our wings need at least 2 good players, and at least one of them should be really quality. We should use our selection of players to our strenghts, we should not force system with 2 wingers if we don't even have 1 real winger in the team. Like I said in other thread it might be better to not play with any wingers at all (and it is not an uncommon system). Overall I'm happy with our performance and I would really rather not change much, but wings are extremely important and this is what holds us back.

According to Abdurrahim Albayrak you don't need any transfers at all.

Abdürrahim Albayrak:Şu anda Barcelonadan iyi takımız. :D

Frenk is Abdurrahim Albayrak? :eekani:

Amina koyim Abdurrahim, bu adam harbiden deli ama :howler:

We need transfers badly, if you ask me I would offload Baros and bring a classy striker. Also, Turkish winger (Tore for example) wouldn't be bad. Just don't make Olcanish transfers, I hate these vasat players who do nothing at big clubs except use space on the bench..

Hey it's better having a guy like that than Adnan Sezgin. He's just excited and got a little carried away :howler:

LOL and did everyone catch Abdurrahim try and make love to Elmander yesterday?! :wth: what was that ahahahhaa :D

Riera and Emre are both shit and Mertan hasnt played a game on senior level yet.

Olcan is one of the best turkish left wingers you can get currently and Amrabat has the talent to bring it to the next level, worth putting money on it IMO even if he's inconsistent and too selfish at times. I'd be happy with both.

#22 ·
Riera ain't enough. He played like 2 and half of good games so far...3 tops it...That's far too less for €3m/year...

Well I'm satisfied and quite happy we have him on our bench. He knows he'll be benched if he is shit so I only expect better. I hope Sercan will get more chances but if Baros gets going there's no chance which for us can't be a bad thing. Championship is the only achievement I can accept.

#24 ·
I see your point, but Terim already benches Engin for Kazim and thus we play with two ineffective wingers--Kazim and Emre...In the name of what? That's the only thing to bitch about our team, though, and luckily it didn't bring us down. But Emre would get skinned and eaten alive in Europe and Kazim would simply not get past anyone, not a single time ever.

I'm only talking about the viewpoint of the coming transfer season. I think the summer will be the right time to think about performing in Europe and getting appropriate reinforcements.

I'm undecided about Kazim though. Even if he's generally not good enough, expect some brilliant action from him. And otherwise enough backups, just like Mertan. Though before him we do have a versatile midfielder in Engin who I love for his workrate. For a Turkish player he's pretty high-standard. It's a good time to be a Galatasaray fan

We were interested in Borriello a while back. He plays for Roma now, but seems unsettled, doesn't play a lot (in fact he's a benchwarmer) and didn't score in a while, but was great before, both for AC Milan and Genoa. The problem is, he's 29, and will be 30 in June next year. Not exactly an investment for the future. We could replace Baros with him for now, though.

http://www.sporx.com/futbol/transfer/turkiye/g-saraydan-surpriz-bir-transfer-hamlesiSXHBQ261547SXQ

"Galatasaray, Al Ahly’de oynayan Trabzon’un eski yıldızı Jaja’nın transferini bitirmek üzere. G.Saray, Arap kulübü ile bağlarını koparan Brezilyalı’nin bonservisi için 3.5 milyon Euro önerdi. Sambacıya da maç başılarla, yıllık 2 milyon Euro ödenecek"

--

He was ***king awesome, what a talent! He was an equivalent of Thierry Henry in his prime for STSL standards. Shitty attitude, though. Maybe with fellow Brazilian Melo around and other ultimate badasses like Muslera, Eboue, Ujfalusi, Inan and Elmander he'd get his mental shit together..?
