The Zambrotta agent said that if Barça and Juve reach an agreement there will be no problem for Zambrotta going to Barcelona.

It seems Juve will accept or have accepted already the Barça offer, so it´s very probable that Zambrotta is going to Barça.

 

What will happen to Marquez, by the way? Thuram has Gallas plus aneurysms if anyone suggests he should play full back nowadays.

I'm not convinced with Thuram on the right, but you've got to think from a squad perspective and a player of his calibre, experience and ability is welcome at Barça. Could he be our new "Larsson" in the centre of defence? He had a good World Cup and all.

Larsson had plenty of clubs after him, but he still signed for us. The season is long and injuries will happen.

After seeing Márquez in the World Cup, maybe the management are considering him as the holding midfielder, but I've never liked Rafa in that position.

 

According to Marca/Radio Marca, Zambrotta has signed a four-years contract at Barcelona. Nothing official yet.

I think so. Besides, it adds depth at the CB and the DM at the same time. I still remember all the problems we had with these positions last year.
