I think Milan has better things to worry about, like how to party for a double title! CL&Serie A

But since these fans here are a little slowwwwwwwwww, they will probably get drunk and start typing in the forum like I´m doing nknow

Though this is the 2nd most important game of our season
I would field from the start:
Crespo, Kaladze, Ambrosini, Serginho and Rui Costa

Crespo proved that he is the STAR of our christmas tree

My lineup

Dida
Cafu Nesta Stam Kaladze
Pirlo
Amrosini
Serginho
Rui Costa
Kaka
Crespo

Bring the new players on. I know it will definitely not happen but I want these players to play.

Our biggest enemy is not Juventus, is not the referees, it our tiredness both PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY.

Cafu, Gattuso and Sheva are particularly exhausted as shown in the PSV lost. Maldini would probably not be fully fit after the nasty injury in 1st half.(I really don't want a half-fit Paolo to battle in such battles :sob: )
Hence, although it's against Juve, we have to do a SMALL aquad rotation IMO, if we don't replace them with fresher players to give a FIGHT, we'll LOSE with our first 11.

Let's play the X'mas tree with some fresher and hungry players:)

------------------Dida--------------------

Billy(C)------Nesta-------Stam----Serginho

-----Seedorf-----Pirlo------Ambrosini------

----------Kaka----------Rui Costa---------

-----------------Crespo-------------------

DHORASSO, Pippo or JDT should replace any tired players in second half.
Carlo, pls field the players who are the fittest, not the ones with biggest names.;)

Doesn't matter,

No matter who's there, they'd bang goals behind Gigi Buffon. :fero:
If I were you I wouldn't be that confident. Apparently your players are seeing ghosts now, that can't be good for concentration. :shades:

Nesta saw La Coruna ghosts
Wednesday 4 May, 2005
Alessandro Nesta, Andrea Pirlo and Jaap Stam reveal they saw the ghosts of their exit to Deportivo La Coruna looming large during their PSV clash.

“Considering how the game was going, it was becoming very tough and we saw shadows of La Coruna,” said Nesta, who missed the first leg through suspension.

“We couldn’t take control of the match and that was a bad sign, though in the final 20 minutes we started to pass the ball around and that gave us confidence. Thankfully, it all went well in the end.”

Massimo Ambrosini’s last-gasp header ensured Milan qualified for the Champions’ League Final on the away goals rule despite their 3-1 defeat in Eindhoven.

“We had difficulty clearing our ranks and that kept them on us continually as well as preventing us from getting forward. There are times when you find a team that out-runs you and we are not machines.”

Andrea Pirlo was particularly pressured in midfield tonight and confessed he was getting rather concerned.

“There was a bit of a fright, but we carried on playing and knew one goal would really seal it,” said the midfielder. “It’s a shame we also conceded a late one, as it made the tie tense until the final whistle. PSV did very well over both legs and it’s a shame we had to get into the Final like this, but at least we are there.”

Jaap Stam came face to face with his former club and was less surprised than most at just how much of a struggle this match was.

“We were under pressure all over the pitch for the entire game. When PSV are given the space to play then they can hurt you, as they have a lot of quality. We are going to Istanbul and are happy about that, but it does annoy me to concede three goals.”

Guus Hiddink’s teams always have a great work-rate and dominated the possession in Eindhoven, but Milan’s clinical finishing again proved decisive.

“Physically we were always on the back foot and couldn’t put them under pressure. Now we have a very important game on Sunday and must try to recover our energy.”

Stam is also familiar with the Rossoneri’s next Champions’ League opponents, as Liverpool enter their first Final in 20 years.

“Liverpool are a very strong side and it will be another tough encounter in Istanbul,” concluded the ex-Manchester United man.

The players maybe extremely tired, but they'll fight till the very end against the Gobbi team I am SURE. Maybe we would drop points after and hand the scudetto to you, but we won't diappoint in San Siro this Sunday. that's my gut feeling. :fero:

Remember the 1st Milan-Juve last Decemember? :shades:

If Sheva's condition is the same, or even worse than the level he displaced last night, i think either Crespo/JDT/Pippo could be better option. Sheva is clearly exhausted...
Sheva was tired from having to run back to midfield to try to pick up the ball, since he wasn't getting any service. He wasn't the problem, the midfield was. Seedorf was terrible, Pirlo's passing was off, and Gattuso often gave the ball back to PSV.

Juve To Win-Sacchi
5/5/2005 12:45:00 PM
Real Madrid technical director Arrigo Sacchi has predicted that Juventus will defeat Milan on Sunday afternoon.
"Milan play a more attractive style of play, but I see Juventus as favourites," the former AC Milan boss said.

"Capello will be able to take advantage of the fatigue that has been afflicting Ancelotti’s side of late," he explained.

Sacchi also commented on the suspension that ruled Juventus striker Ibrahimovic out of the San Siro showdown.

"If Juve complain, then what should the other sides do?," he said.

Juventus and Milan are even on 76 points going into the Scudetto clash.

A lesson to be learned for opposing teams from the match yesterday especially Mancio: If you man-mark Pirlo, 50% of Milan is effectively conquered. Its true. Right?
That started to happen a bit towards the end of the 2002-03 season, but he and the rest of the players overcame it.

His problem last night was trying (along with Ambro) to do the work of Seedorf and Gattuso aswell.

Juve beat us in Torino, now it's our turn to beat them and win the league title. I hope I'm right, otherwise this scudetto race will never end.
