Enough talk about debts. Let's look at the football.

Galatasaray's next league match is this saturday on 22 october at 20.00, Turkish time. Denizlispor are our guests in Ali Sami Yen.

According to reports on several websites Ilic was favored to train with the A-team in Necati's position behind the strikers. We can expect to see Ilic get a chance in this match. I hope he uses it well. There's a report of an injury to Umit Karan's back. He had to stop training. If he's out we will see Necati in his position against Denizlispor.

Even if Karan's out I'm still very hopefull of a win. I think we will see the same system again with Cihan at right back, Saidou before the defense, the two wingers Heinz and Sas back again and Ilic behind Sukur and Necati.

Most propably we will conceed atleast one goal  and score at least 3 :strong:

There are some sad incidents after the final whistle.

Seats are being tore down and thrown onto the pitch......a gs board member (Bülent Tulun) enters the pitch to complain at the ref. Gs players surrounding the ref.....and the refs being forced to leave the pitch with 20-30 polices surrounding them.

I can't believe we missed so many chances. Hakan has completely lost it. How many easy chances has he missed this season?

I don't like the way our players behaved towards the refee after the game. He didn't have a good game, but they should have left him alone. I am affraid some of our players might get banned for a few games. :(

It really went unnoticed, but did you realize that Galatasaray's first 9 games were the best start EVER in the history of the Turkish league?

Selcuk Dereli did not make any mistakes that changed the course of the game.

Today as much as the players, Gerets handed out a point to Denizli. I don't know why he did not start with the Hakan, Umit, Necati trio. Then he took out Umit Karan and brought in Ugur. And Hakan looked everywhere when he was one on one with the goalie, except the goal.

ümit karan played so shit, he had to be taken out. ilic was starting to play good, but he was injured i think, so gerets took him out too. some stupid fans booed ilic while he went off the pitch. altan can't play any football. even if i would put a stone on the left wing and write heinz on it, i would feel better watching the scene...in the end 2 points lost, i dunno who to blame, i think we can't blame anyone...

Umit might play like shit, but he is the best and the most critical finisher we have. He shouldn't have been taken out. And I agree with you on Ilic. Today he was positive but he was taken out.

And I really wonder when is Gerets ever going to try Altan as an AM behind the forwards. Ilic got so many chances in that spot and Altan got none. That's his netural position and everyone knows including him that he sucks at LM, I don't know why Gerets insists on playing him there.
