Solari and Samuel to Inter

According to Marca, Real and Inter have reached an agreement about Solari and Samuel.
Santiago Solari will be sold to the italian team, whereas Samuel will be sent on loan for one year.
Finally, Solari found himself out of Madrid. I can't say I'm happy with this, because we're loosing a very valuable playter. It is true that, since he signed his new contract, his performances weren't so good, but I still think we'll miss him.
On the contrary, I can't care less about Samuel. Just hope next year Inter will buy him. Good luck for him anyway.

I think Madrid lost a great player in Santi Solari.....so has La Liga
Spot on. :depress:

I don't understand. The hard-working players who fight for the club are the ones that always seem to exit the capital, while the primadonnas are offered new contracts and starting spots at the click of their fingers. :wallbang:

I wish Samuel good luck, he tried to settle but it just wasn't meant to be. I am sure he will find his quality again in Serie A as his style suits that league perfectly. But what is a loan going to do? If he performs world-class at Inter as expected- that does not mean he will be great for Real Madrid in 06/07 so what is Perez trying to do?

Well you're wrong, and wrong big time! And that will become obvious, sooner or later. And I thought Perez actually started to use his head. Silly me.

Happy about Solari but not sure about Samuel, would prefer Chivu. But I'll waite and see untill the season start to see Samuel get back to his usuals again if this is true. Last time I remember when we got Cambiasso I said not so nice things about him ;) but he has shown me why Real miss a guy like him. :star: player top top.

If he played good he won't wear the white shirt because the loan has a buy clause of 18m euros, so the maximum we could gain is 20m from him :(.

How stupid, either sell him or keep him, not loan a world class player :wallbang:

Waiting for Sergio Ramos :proud:

Perez is destroying this team year after year.
What the hell is this clown sacchi is doing? that guy knows about football management as much as i know about cooking - which is nothing/zero...
Solari is one of my favourite players and i wish him all the luck at inter.
I'm sure gonna follow more italian football now.
realy sad day.
i hope perez and his family burn in hell...

I am much more sad about Samuel then Solari. Again, Samuel isn't a flashy defender and had a tough time adapting, but ask Helguera why had has his best season at the back and Samuel was a big reason for that.

Solari, as great as he was, was a very expensive squad player, and we can certainly manage without him. But as Real_Madrid said, our D now becomes an unhappy Ivan, Injurygate, Pavon and Raul Bravo!!!

how much does he earn per season at Real Madrid ?

Strange move, it looks like it was only a financial move. Solari, if Robinho does come to Madrid, was going to see less and less playing time, but he is valuable off the bench.

And Samuel is even more interesting, the defense in the back does need people and he was a starter day and day out, I guess the team feels that Woodgate is ready:eekani: or either of the Uruguayans can play in the central defense:googly: or that Sergio Ramos is indeed coming after all.

Yeah but Sergio Ramos alone won't be enough IMO, we need another CB if Samuel leaves...not necessary a started, but an experienced, reliable back-up.

Of course, imagining both don't come, first few games we start leaking goals people will regret selling Samuel.

We'll have. We still have Mejía, which is a very good CB. ANd there is even a chance we can count on Woodgate. With Helguera and Pavón, plus Sergio Ramos, we'll have 5 players able to play in two positions. It's deep enough, I think.
If ours want to be a great squad, they must by no means line up an useless butcher like Samuel. "It" is simply not Madrid material

Sad to see Solari go, he´ll always be remembered kindly in Madrid. At least we have the new Solari now.

As for Samuel.... good riddance.
