Kajoo, cheers for the warm welcome here and for the info you provided on Spartak's team in the other thread. Well appreciated. If you have time to make a more detailed report on their current team and how they measure up compared to previous years, the ins/outs of their squad as well, that'd be perfect.
As for Olimpic, as far as I know they've brought in 5 players up until now: Mahir Karic (23 y/o CF, used to play in the Czechs with Most and Slovan), Irfan Fejzic (29 y/o keeper, formerly of FK Sarajevo), Admir Rascic (33 y/o CF, going to his third Sarajevo club after playing for both Zeljo and FKS in the past

), Srdjan Stanic (former Zeljo captain, earned a call-up to the BiH NT before a serious injury last year), and Predrag Videkanic (28 y/o Montenegrin who can play as a LB and as a DM). There were rumors about them signing 30-year old striker Emir Hadzic, formerly of FKS, as well but I haven't read anything official about that so I don't think it happened, at least not yet.
Aside from losing Safet Sivsic who was just a rotational player anyways for them, they've managed to keep the core of their Bosnian cup winning team and build upon it with these signings. Sulejman Smajic, Veldin Muharemovic, and Stefan Pereira are probably their most dangerous players on the attacking end. Dalibor Pandza was their top scorer last season with 10 goals, Danijel Brkovic is another one of their top scorers and they are both forwards, while they also have Hugo Souza who has been decent for them since signing from Siroki Brijeg last winter. Bojan Regoje and Jadranko Bogicevic give them plenty of experience in defense. Dino Hamzic is their keeper and he's a decent one I might add, at least at shot stopping. A few of their other players' names I recognize well, but I haven't seen them play enough lately to be able to comment on them. Some of these players already have experience of playing in Europe with other clubs in our league and abroad so even if the club is new to this scene, not everyone in it is.
As far as their starting lineup goes, I can't say that I know it by heart or what exactly they'll go with on Thursday, but judging by the quality of some of their signings and the players that are there from last season, maybe something like this is likely;
Dino Hamzic
Filip Gligorov* - Bojan Regoje - Jadranko Bogicevic - Alem Merajic
Kenan Handzic - Predrag Videkanic*
Sulejman Smajic* - Veldin Muharemovic - Stefan Pereira
Dalibor Pandza*
* = Could be Denis Comor at RB, Ervin Jusufovic/Mak Varesanovic at CM, Hugo Souza/Danijel Brkovic at RW, or Mahir Karic at CF instead. Not really enough clues otherwise to tell what their set XI is.
Their preparations have been going on for a couple of weeks but as far as I know they only played one friendly which was a 2-0 loss to Celik Zenica on Thursday where their coach Mirza Varesanovic said that they played very poorly and should have conceded more goals. I'm not really sure how ready they are and how indicative that game is on how they'll fare in Europe since they're new to all of this, but hopefully they'll put up a better showing against Spartak on Thursday (which will be played at FKS's home stadium Kosevo as Olimpic's Otoka ground doesn't meet UEFA requirements, btw).
I hope this info is good enough for you to learn more about Olimpic, that's about all I have anyways as I don't really follow them closely but not many do really as they're the 3rd/4th most popular club in Sarajevo and have a very small fan base as a result because everyone else supports FKS or Zeljeznicar. Or Slavija if you're looking in east Sarajevo. That's all.
