Next weekend there is 2 important matches for us. one will come in the North of Italy when Juventus play Milan. Firstly though we will need to beat lowly Reggina. They are not in good form but they are a decent home side and this is where we have struggled lately!!! We need to win this match in the hope Juve get something off Milan.

Reggina play a good system with Bonazzoli being the target man, Di michele being the direct runner and Cozza the playmaker!!! Mozart also impressive in midfield and Jiranek also impresses me!!! Somehow they arent doing too great recently even though I feel they have a good team but they can easily surprise us if we dont turn up mentally!!!

For us, I think its more of the same in terms of tactics, Totti is 1 yellow away and coul miss the Derby as someone pointed out!!! We need Totti for that derby so playng him here could be a risk... if we take an early lead I would take him off early to make sure he doesnt get a yellow!!! We will see...

I know you'd hate to miss him for the deby Thoto, but you know the beauty of it is that if Totti was to get suspended we wouldn't be like ducks in the water anymore. No doubt we have evolved greatly this year, last year without Totti we were simply hammered. Cassano has stepped up in a major way since the Christmas break. Hopefully Montella can make his long, overdue comeback as well.

Unless the referee is on a mission to make sure Totti misses the next game, I don't think we have to worry about him getting a yellow, he wants to be able to play against Lazio as much as anyone and he will play carefully.

But anyway, I think it may be a good idea to play Totti in the UEFA Cup game on Thursday and then leave him on the bench for Reggina if Montella is finally fit. Cassano, Mancini and Emerson are in great form and hopefully they'll compensate for Totti's absence. If not, he can always come in at halftime.

Most importantly, our players should think about this game only when they get out on the field, not about Juve-Milan.

Thoto: Don't fear bro, you'll get to see your (our) hero....
I know what you feel like, tho. Totti didn't make it to NYC two summers ago vs. Madrid. I was hurt, but still had a wonderful time. Everytime I open up my fridge, I see a pix of me in front of Emerson dribbling and Cassano playing w/ the ball in the air. It's wonderful. You can't lose. Plus, you're seeing a derby in the Olimpico in Rome! Dude, you got a lot of nerve whining :D

Juve will focus all their attention on Serie A from now and let's not 4get their only 1 point behind us...If they win against Milan or draw their preety much in it just as much as us...They have injuries and even tough their not as good as last year their squad depth is still better then ours. But then again, if Milan wins this sunday their preety much not gonna let anybody beat them so i don't really know what to hope for come this sunday..

any result is a good result for us given that we win our match, if Juve wins then we're closer to Milan and the scudetto, if Milan wins then the gap between us and Juve widens, if they draw then we’re closer to Milan and the gap between us and Juve widens. so it's our fixture I'm worried about not Milan and Juve's.

Forza Roma :fero:

its all about the form, Roma CAN beat Milan i believe but they have not shown it , but we will get the chance so its no problem....Udinese beat Milan although they didnt have a full team....so its not impossible, Milan is everything as advertised plus more....a very good team

Milan just defeatd sparta prague 4-1........

there is no way juve will beat milan.....this is how it goes.....milan will thrash juve and an upset will occur in the reggina-roma game....

i hope capello lets totti play in the uefa cup tie and rest him in this game giving d'agostino or montella a chance so he wont get a yellow card and get suspended for the derby

my probable line up......
pelizolli
zebina-samuel-chivu
mancini-de rossi-dacourt-emerson-candela
cassano-montella

a 1-1 draw

One thing is being capable of beating you.
Another thing is actually doing it.

At this point, we're the team in Italy who would have the best chance if the chance occurred.

Such comments as yours just make me look forward to Milan - Roma. I think we are going to see pretty clear what Roma are capable of doing then - when the f'cking scudetto lies in your corrupt hands ready to be embraced. That's when we'll be there.

Ciao
