Abbiati back for tomorrow? Just read that Amelia may miss the game altogether tomorrow and was wondering if we will play with Roma or Piscitelli.

At the christmas party the other day he said that he wouldn't be ready. So it will be Roma who is going to guard our goal tomorrow, if Amelia doesn't make it.

The called up:

Amelia, Roma, Bonera, De Sciglio, Ely (53), Mexes, Taiwo, Thiago Silva, Ambrosini, Aquilani, Kevin Prince Boateng, Emanuelson, Nocerino, Seedorf, Van Bommel, El Shaarawy, Ibrahimovic, Pato, Robinho.

No Abbiati, Antonini or Abate. Wonder how the defense will look:

Taiwo-Mexes-Thiago Silva-Bonera
or
Taiwo-Bonera-Thiago Silva-De Sciglio. I'm for the second alternative.

A must-win match.

Same as against Bologna.

Hope that match wasn't the beginning of a sloppy period cause we really need to earn a lot of points before it becomes extremely difficult in February. Until then, purely mid/lowtable sides: Siena, Atalanta, Inter, Novara, and Cagliari twice

Need a better performance than the one against Bologna. With that, the three points should come.

A pity that Abate is out but on the plus side Nocerino is back in. Aquilani and Van Bommel need to step it up and Taiwo needs to impress potential suitors. Robinho must start and Pato can restore faith by making a positive appearance off the bench.

Last chance for Taiwo? If he cant excel against one of the worst teams in the league, it is time for another solution.

Looking forward to seeing more of De Sciglio :)

probably the best 11 available in a thin fit squad. Still I would like to see el Shaarawy start in "easier" games like this one.

barra, i really fail to understand your logic; why play el scha and de sci , both have been so poor when played, w the exception of that one goal. Its a must must win game, shame we even have to pla taiwo and other unproven options and you still wanna go further down the picking order and play 3rd tier quality, just for the sake of feeling good that we play some youngsters ... Weird

Aquilani is benched tonight, Seedorf will play instead.

#22 ·
To be fair both have been bad, but Robinho is showing more will, movement and a much better attitude. Pato is just hiding behind defenders and refusing to make sensible runs.

MILAN: Amelia, Bonera, Mexes, Thiago Silva, Taiwo, Seedorf, Van Bommel, Nocerino, Boateng, Ibrahimovic, Robinho.

SIENA: Brkic, Vitiello, Rossettini, Terzi, Del Grosso, Angelo, Bolzoni, Gazzi, Reginaldo, Brienza, Calaiò.

Interesting to see Mexes start, but Bonera at RB is unfortunate and boring. Seedorf was bad against Bologna, except his goal, but so was Aquilani so it's 50-50 there.

Hope to see a fired up Pato when he enters in the 70th minute.

Forza MILAN!

Seriously, I've only seen like 10 minutes of the game and Siena is leaving acres of empty space but we're really bad when attacking though.

The ref just whistled a few seconds before 45 mins when Taiwo was through for a cross... very strange.

Dull match, we look so impotent up front and our wings are non existant (bonera since he is played out of position and taiwo since he is playing out of his league).
