Wow hero, I'm sure all the Sporting fans around the world are giving you a standing ovation (those of them who didn't asleep out of boredom from the thread title anyway :D) for calling Sporting = Sporting!! Fantastic, you're such a humanitarian, I hereby nominate you for a noble peace price, aswell as to replace Stedman, as Oprah's next boyfriend! Together you can spread flowers everywhere, make love in the clouds in hopes of producing ginger african babies, end world starvation, cure aids/gingervitis(or whatever your orange ass suffers from)/cancer etc. but most importantly of all, together you can call football teams by only their proper and pure names!!! Imagine what a better place the world would be!! Finally Real Madrid's feelings don't have to get hurt anymore!

Fair enough, although I doubt it'll end, it's been going on since 2008 :dielaugh: I guess you'd have to ban us both :D

Back on topic. I'd love to see Parejo get a game again, I think after last night him and Jonas are favorites for that AM role, although Parejo plays rather a more free-er role with freedom to drop deep.

Can't choose between Alves and Guaita either, I know Guaita is a clear favorite in this forum for many reasons, as he should, but upto now I can't really see that much of a difference between the two. Two very good options to have, no doubt. Just like there is no doubt Guaita will start against Sporting, because I think Alves will be handling the cup competitions.

Rest Jeremy aswell, he needs to get his head together after last night, I'm sure he'll be back to his best in a match or two ;) I love the height and strength he brings to the back four, alongside the huge Rami, the fit Ruiz and the Hustler that's Miguel. Certainly not a weak backfour. But for now, Jeremy doesn't deserve to be starting ahead of Alba.

So an obvious:

Guaita

Miguel - Rami - Ruiz - Alba

Topal - Ever

Jonas/Parejo
Pablo -------------- Piatti
Soldado

However, I think there will be rotations again and we'll likely see the likes of Tino and Canales get minutes sometime in the match again, whether they start or not is different story. Emery might even pull a surprise and start Ricardo Costa or something to rest one of the starting centerbacks, something I'm not looking forward to. Those two need to develop an understanding, and so far they're doing well. Especially Rami, dudes got World Class written all over him.

I don't think Parejo with Banega can work, from what i saw last night anyway. If Parejo sticks to the CAM role and actually stays in front of the 2 CMs then it could. BUt last night Parejo kept coming too deep where Ever plays and we know Ever won't play advanced. This meant that Soldado was isolated, too much space between the CAM and the striker. This could just be natural to Parejo, playing deep, if it is then he won't work with Ever.

If Parejo plays the Ever role with Canales or Jonas as CAM then he could work. The only way he'll work with Ever is if he stays advanced and stops coming deep, IMO.

Problem is we got Barca [h] four days later, Sevilla [a] three after that, and Chelsea [h] another four after that, before Granada [h] four days again. Lots of games, lots of big games, so there's gonna be rotations. The real problem is that we have to be at our best for the big ties, while we cannot afford to lose against the likes of Sporting and Granada - they are the must win games, anyone can drop points to the big guns [or sporting if you're us].

Interesting/depressing weeks ahead...

GUAITA

BOTH SHIT, WHO CARES - RUIZ - RAMI - BOTH SHIT, WHO CARES

TOPAL - BANEGA

PABLO H. - JONAS - OVER-RATED TA-WAT

SOLDADO

Play this and we have some sort of chance for a result.

Sporting look poor so far, 2 defeats. 1 at home to Sociedad.
Bit early to be that harsh to Piatti isn't it?!

Sporting - Valencia:
Santi Says:
Los Che quiere continuar su pleno en la liga consiguiendo su tercera victoria en tres partidos…
Los Che want to continue their great start to their league season, getting their third win in three games.
Santi is going for a Valencia win, 1-2, at odds of 8/1 with 888sport.
