Very true. We were getting out possessed badly in the first half of that match and it's not something we can rely on. DB is trying to develop this team into a defensive, gritty squad and that's fine but we need to develop a counter attacking game that can take pressure of the backline and give them time to re-organize. Having pacey wingers that can dribble like Roshi and Rama may help and I think having Kace in the lineup will help as well.Just hope De Biasi goes in knowing he can't get away with the same bs at Portugal. Have to change it up. Denmark is going to do their homework.
I really don't know how skilled Xhaka is offensively but something tells me more technical than Roshi although Roshi blows him out when it comes to pace and dribbling(not even debatable)problem with xhaka as RM is he doesn't provide enough offensively. Also, I don't think DB is going to switch from 433, so we're stuck.
Gashi is a weird one, because he doesn't fit in 433, hes more of a second striker, and also he hasn't played at all lately for some reason.
Xhaka is often seen as a "warrior" type of player. I think Xhaka is better suited as CM. I don't think Kace provides enough offensively either, he's just a "tempo-keeper".I really don't know how skilled Xhaka is offensively but something tells me more technical than Roshi although Roshi blows him out when it comes to pace and dribbling(not even debatable)
But having Xhaka in the lineup can give more freedom to other players like Gashi and Kace.
Xhaka had a really nice goal the other game for his club.
De Biasi is not focusing at all on Serbia if you can read his interview. He spent 99% of the time talking about Denmark. This just has trap game written all over it. Too much focus was on Serbia. And most of all, I know for a fact De Biasi won't change anything. Whether you like to admit it or not, Portugal was a lucky 3 points. There was a lot more bad in that game than good. But Biasi won't think that. He probably thinks he's some ingenious coach that developed an unbreakable tactic (aka get fckin lucky).
In Serbia there is nobody thinking about the game vs. Albania and actually there is very little enthusiasm but that could change as we approach the match.
apart from defence and matic, what do they have? all average players...That's because people in Serbia don't care about their NT and would rather watch other NTs like Croatia.oke:
But seriously, I know you guys have low attendance/interest in your NT and that's pretty crazy considering the players you have.
My exact formation with just my adjustment of Lenjani in place of Agolli. He is plain and simple better in everything, pace, ball control, technique and defensively more solid. Maybe people here have already forgotten how Agolli was raped in Portugal and that he was by far the worst defender.Though Im not religious I still believe in some karmaic forces out there that are beyond human comprehension. And those karmaic forces always punish mendjemadhet, and I feel that's what our team are turning into. just talk.
This is my lineup for Denmark (obviously different in Serbia)
------------Balaj-------------
Rama-------------------Meha
--Kace----Kukeli---Xhaka------
Agolli----Mavraj----Cana--Hysaj
--------------Berisha---------
Xhaka on the right to cover for Meha's defensive shortcomings. Meha and Kace on the field instead of anti-football players, since we're at home and going to be attacking a bit more. Agolli instead of Lenjani cause we need that left foot of his, more than we need Lenjani's dribbling.
For Serbia I'd throw out Rama for Lenjani for defensive stability, and Roshi if fit in place of Meha for speed to exploit Kolarov's space, and Abrashi for Kace, because of more defensive awareness and less **** ups.
P.S. If anyone makes formations, please say why you're putting those players there, I'd be interested to know, instead of making them without explanations.
Probably a few overrated players left and right, but overall most of them are above average players.apart from defence and matic, what do they have? all average players...
