Vinicus may end up becoming the new Denilson...fancy dribbles but no end product.
Jovic is too slow and has zero to no ball control. Pogba is a must...but I'm afraid so is Neymar! If we don't go after Neymar than MBAPPE should be our primary target next summer.

 

100% agree! Did Vinicius spend any time at all this summer working on his finishing? Jovic didn't show me that he has that G factor needed to be an effective goal banging striker. Still I'll wait till after next game to for an opinion.

Just back from the game and a few things need to be said:

- Hazard is great but Madrid needs a Neymar. There was no buzz around the stadium like the last time they came with Cr7, James, and others. Tonigth was just meh.

- if Benz is going to be our main striker, we are doomed.
- We need Pogba like crazy!! Our midfield is slow and doesn't take any chance, but rather keep possession for possession sake.
- As much as I want Bale to leave, he has a place in this team. So many times today, he made great runs that should've rewarded with the ball, but our midfield didn't dare!
- Isco is more annoying live, he just hold on to the ball too long!
- Nacho and Lucas are bricks
- Vinicius? I dunno what happened to him over the summer, but he's looking like a brick right now.
- This team can use James Rodriguez more than Isco
- Ascencio is a bench material.
- I'm annoyed I didn't get to see Roddrygo and Kubo

Sergio Reguilón should still be a member of this side. He should be competing with Mendy to see who starts.
Dani Ceballos is as good if not better than Kroos (at this stage of his career). Why was he shipped away?
Marcelo, Modric, Benzema, and Kroos need to go. Ramos probably has one year left in him perhaps two. Zidane did not clean house as he promised...we are in dire need of MOU!
