This is so ****ing wrong and so ****ing typical; in the first paragraph you are making a very good point, based on a very basic fact, weather, and then the area and population of the country with the expected number of fans arriving from all over the world... etc, all pure objective FACTS; but you are preceding it with a "correct my ignorance", humbling yourself to no limit not to insult somebody with these facts (which is sadly funny to have people insulted by facts).Correct my ignorance but the weather conditions would make for a dreadful tournament. Also could this tiny country cope with a population increase of up to 50%?
..............2022=USA for sure, though obviously increasing American influence/power on football is the worst possible thing for the sport.
:thmbdown:Idk, world cup games in the morning can be kind of charming.
I would love to know what does they have to offer, we all know they have money but what else apart from that?Aside from the obviously hot summer day and incredibly humid nights. Doha has a lot to offer :rollani: As for the infrastructure for hosting such tournament, Qatar has its neighbours (Bahrain and U.A.E) for support too. a 30 minute car ride from Bahrain to Doha is feasible (A rail line is also in the works from Bahrain to Doha) and a 40-45 airplane ride from Dubai and word has it that from Abu Dhabi you could catch a ferry across to the stadia. Only problem so far is the weather which with climate controlled stadiums is going to be dealt with.
What does the Qatari national team naturalization policy have to do with Qatar hosting the tournament? Some people just need an excuse to criticize
