Bad start for Primorje, as expected... :(

Gorica, I don't think so. Looks like Maribor got themselves together after embarassing defeat in the Intertoto. I think this one will be between Domzale, Maribor and Koper. I also expect the Chelsea of Slovenia to finish high.

I wont participate in this years PL if there will be one. I keep forgeting to post my predictions all the time, so what's the point.:rollani: If any of you will decide to go for it, I whish you all the best.

Nice start by Maribor :) 2 wins from 2 matches and a come from behind against Gorica! Hopefully we get set up for a good season, the last couple have been quite disappointing :(

The season is still young and they have a young team;)

Janez did you know that Zaho is now the Sporting director at Maribor?:)
The Maribor people and media are exctatic that he signed the deal, now we wait and see if he'll be of any use:)

I did know that actually, I saw some photos of him on the website haha! Great to see him involved with the club thats for sure :D

Just wondering what do you think of the Zeus shirts? And are they hard to buy over there in Slovenija??

I saw the shirts only on TV, so I don't know if there good quality or not.I thing is for sure, it's annoying to see all those small sponsors on the shirt.
The only place I can think of getting the shirt is at the staduim (Tribuna Bar) where they sell fan material, there's no other official Nk Maribor fan shop in Maribor, the club and city is too small:D

In the end, he'll create a hell of a mess, and leave, like usual. :D

Nah, I don't want this to happen to you, and I hope he'll be a success for you guys.

When does the prediction league start? :)
If you guys want prediction league, you should choose one to be the prediction league manager, because I am not doing it again this year. Let me know and I will set up the league for you.

How about the newcomer(s)? How do you rate their chances? Who do you think will relegate?
I think Livar Ivančna Gorica will definitely be relegated...
The next candidate is Primorje, I am afraid...

haha well put janez... how did you get your maribor shirt??

have you seen domzale's site? damn, i wish maribor had an online shop like the one domzale has...

and as for todays match... i am beginning to hate koper haha:doh:

What a great match today in Koper...a lot of chanses, great tempo, a totally different Koper from the one in UEFA cup, we play with 120%, with 10 man against 11 we won & it was deserved. Grande Koper!

Only the reff. was miserable, he almost destroyed the 2nd half with his decisions...

Also a great atmosphere, with a big number of Viole & Tifozi...

I just saw the highlights and Maribor had like 4 100% chances. When you don't take chances like that, then you surely get punished. Makriev got around the keeper and missed an open goal from 12-13m :D

Game highlights

And check out the game Drava-Interblock, the league is a joke when you see that pro players can't finish chances like that. I won't even bother to start talking about the defence and the game play.

Djurovski named new Maribor coach

Macedonian coach Milko Djurovski has been installed as new coach of Slovenian club Maribor a few days after the sacking of Marijan Pušnik.

Maribor have confirmed on their official website that former Partizan and Red Star Belgrade player Milko Djurovski has officially been put in charge of the Slovenian club: "After several meetings the club has decided to split ways with Marijan Pušnik. Hiring a new coach is always an unpleasant task, but we decided to go for Djurovski who did a good job at Drava and Nafta respectively," said Maribor's sporting director Zlatko Zahovič. Djurovski signed a two-year contract with Slovenia's most successful club.

Marijan Pušnik was heavily criticized for his team's humiliating defeat against Domžale, which finished the match with nine men scoring three of the four goals only minutes after Siniša Janković and Danijel Brezič were sent off.
