Awaiting the new jersey is always an exciting time before a major tournament...we've had a white away strip, a blue one and now what?

call me crazy, but how about a shirt that looks like Hrvatski Dragovoljac's with checkers on the side

the black shirt, put some checkers on the side of the shirt, don't know how it would look but thats my idea, although some people may not like the black

the kockasti ones from wc 98 were by far the best looking

In terms of our best jersey I think the home strip from Euro '96 was the best.

I think the new away jerseys are really nice. I also think that the full checkered jerseys are our signature and we shouldn't try to subdue it. We've been very successful with these jerseys. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

 

I think it's a bit too early to discuss this. They won't come out until next year for phuck's sake.

I actually meant that maybe it was too early t oprint this article in Vecernji List. My God, I'm still not even used to these shirts yet. I just hope Nike will put out some training gear next year so I don't have to keep buying stuff from that English guy on EBay.

 

the away kit now is shit because there is too much blue. If the shorts where white it would be better, the jersey is awesome just dont like blue shorts as well...

 

May I propose the following away kit:

- white shirt with red & white checkered stripe as we have now;
- blue shorts;
- blue socks.

Actually, I don't mind this current away strip even if it is remarkably reminiscent of the colours of a certain football club from Zagreb. It does look decent.

Football strips are constantly being changed just so that people buy more replicas, it is just business. But I do NOT want to see too much variation on the traditional red & white check home strip. Modify it slightly so that our sponsor Nike can sell more of them, but the essential design must stay. It is our trademark and one of the most unique NT strips in world football. When it is worn there is no mistake as to which nation it represents ! :thumbsup:

these guys are assholes... they're going to try and do all these things changing the jersey and making something new that fans will have to have, and then i can't even find the ****ing things in stores....

STOP STOP STOP, white checkered home, blue away, it's worked out just fine. when was the last time the bulls changed their ****ing jerseys? or the yankees? STOP STOP STOP!

it looks better than the current one. a dark blue(close to black) away jersey would look good, too.

 

I'm not crazy about the all blue either as I think the NT shouldn't look like any of our clubs especially that certain club from ZG that prof balthazar mentioned:smileani: . I wouldn't mind a yellow away strip even though it's not really one of our colors, although I don't think that will ever happen. If we had a solid red shirt than the away would most certainly be white, but I can't see that happening either as a certain country to our east has adopted a solid red shirt as they're home kit. I guess the only logical away color we can use is blue since our home shirt is of a lighter hue. The current away is definitely too blue for my liking though.

 

I'm still undecided with the Jersey...at times it looks good but at other times it doesn't. I like the colour blue and I think the jerseys look very strong but I'm not sure if I like the stripe. Checkers are great but maybe not in that layout.

I kind of agree with this blue, while nice, the way they laid out the checkers it looks like a school crossing guard. What they should have done with the blue, which I think might have made the look a bit better is to have put the same style checkers on the shoulder, kind of the way the the away white jersey looked at Euro96....I think that would have made this blue jersey look nicer. Problem is, Nike has a template kit and there are a few Nike teams with that same exact style with the strip going down the heart side of the jersey...

 

I dunno. I own it and look really sharp when I wear it! p

 

The Blue is beautiful. I can't imagine a jersey without the checkers. That'd be a nightmare. :thmbdown:
