Nothing so far really. I've put Michu as an out, although he's been gone a good month now. Ulises Davila has also left Chelsea permanently, having spent his entire spell owned by them out on loan at various places.



Of the incoming links, all the most likely ones seem to be from Serie A

Juan Iturbe seems likely to swap places with Victor Ibarbo at Watford. Ibarbo has barely featured, so Iturbe can only be an upgrade, Roma paid a lot for him, so you'd think there's something to him at least.

Juan Zuniga and Jonathan De Guzman both look like moving to Bournemouth from Napoli. I don't think either have played this season and I've read negative quotes about Zuniga's physical condition, which hardly bodes well for the rigors of the premiership, he's a seasoned international defender if healthy though. De Guzman was always good for Swansea, so once he gets past any rust he should be a good signing.

Ashley Cole also looking likely to fill the gap left at Villa by the injury to Jordan Amavi.

 

The last two winter windows before a Euro Chanpionship are usually slow if I recall, I think Gary Cahill from Bolton to Chelsea was the biggest transfer in 2012, gonna have to check 2008

I suspect no different here, some of the teams battling relegation loaning in and buying with small fees that will ultimately still lead them to being relegated

I think relegation battling teams might go a bit nuts this year. The TV money kicks in next season, this is not the year to go down.

 

Just checked 2008 and Chelsea did bring in Anelka and ivanovic (15mil and 9mil) Alves from Hereveen to Middlesbrough was the second biggest transfer that month kinda didn't work out
