PLayers that we will loan in for the tour in USA. Well technically we probably dno't loan Di Gennaro since he was loaned from us to begin with. :D

MILAN - The seven players on loan for the Rossoneri's tour will start training with the group from tomorrow at Milanello. This is the list of players on loan exclusively for the three matches scheduled in USA and Canada: Cristian Brocchi, Davide Di Gennaro, Marcus Diniz Paixao, Roberto Colombo, Gennaro Delvecchio, Claudio Terzi and Manuele Blasi. The first four come from the Rossoneri's background. Apart from Brocchi, winner of eight trophies with Milan, Di Gennaro and Diniz, who played at Livorno in the last season, whereas the goalkeeper Colombo played for Bologna.

Galliani said that the friendlies in the US and Canada in May and June are technically Post-season friendlies. Pre-season doesn't start until after the world cup.

Also, the DC United - Milan match that you have on the 27th, its on the 26th of May. As well as the Chicago Fire - Milan is on the 30th not the 31st. Montreal, June 2nd, not 3rd.

May 26, Washington DC, RFK Stadium 20 hours: DC UNITED-MILAN
May 30, Chicago, Toyota Park Stadium hours 19.30: CHICAGO FIRE-MILAN
June 2, Montreal, Olympic Stadium 20 hours: MONTREAL IMPACT-MILAN.

The post season tour is a common thing done by Milan especially when there are big tournaments such as WC or Euro.

Brocchi won as many CL/Coppa dei Campioni as Juve or Inter have... let's hope that Inter wont overtake a legend like Brocchi :pp

Brocchi si nasce, campioni si diventa :proud:

Seedorf: We're not motivated
By: Craig Stouffer

There isn't exactly a good way to put this delicately, but Wednesday's exhibition match between D.C. United and AC Milan is not enjoying the best timing.

D.C. is a horrible 1-8, and Milan players probably don't want to be anywhere but on vacation. Instead, both teams are here in Washington and will face each other Wednesday evening. More than 22,000 tickets have already been sold.

But after the Italian club trained this morning, it was made clear that Ronaldinho wasn't going to talk about being snubbed by the Brazilian World Cup team and shouldn't be asked - a pretty important directive, as it were, since he skipped out on the media anyway.

At least Clarence Seedorf speaks English, and he doesn't mince words either.

Asked about the difficult of being motivated for the team's postseason US tour, Seedorf responded, "We’re not motivated. We’re just not motivated, but we are professionals, and we’re going to try to entertain the people, that’s the most important thing, and make sure we can get the best out of the game, coming out with no injuries, of course.

"We know how to play this, and we don’t have any other goals than to just make sure we can entertain the people. Motivations are very low because it’s the end of the season. We don’t have anything anymore to play for. But we play for the play, and we’re definitely going to try to entertain them."

He was then asked about giving the Washington fans a chance to see the best of the best: "You won’t see the best of the best in this game. To see the best of the best, you need to be in Europe during the season when everybody’s top fit and highly motivated. As I said, this is just an exhibition game, this is just to give a chance to the people to see AC Milan in front close, not on television, and keep the relationship more than anything because I think the people know exactly what type of place we are and what the level of AC Milan is normally. But expectations shouldn’t be too high because we have some new players who’ve never played with us just to fill the gaps of the players who when to the World Cup. We’re here to entertain and to make sure there’s a good exhibition game for both teams, and of course, we don’t want to lose."
Honest Clarence. :proud:

Off course Pato can play CF, he just normally doesn't. And even if he does on this tour, then we only brought 2 players. One that cant last 90 minutes and one that just got back from injury. It seems a shallow selection.

Seedorf interview by the Washington Post :D
"Well, we're not motivated. We're just not motivated," Seedorf said on Monday. "But we are professionals and we're going to try to entertain the people. That's the most important thing. We can get the best out of the game coming out with no injuries, of course. It's a friendly match but we know how to play this and we don't have any other goals, just make sure we can entertain the people. Motivations are very low because it's the end of the season. We don't have anything anymore to play for, but we play for the people and we're going to definitely try to entertain."

At least he is honest. In fact I remember him saying something similar about having no motivation to play away games against the likes of Catania and Livorno

#33 ·
That's correct, but with his paycheck motivation should not be a problem. If it is let's waive the money in front of someone who is motivated. Serie A is won against the little teams.

The local Baltimore DC channel is showing it. Of course the wife has me watching a Sex in the City rerun on demand at the moment. Trust me, I will be invading multiple orifices as payment
