Kun AgĂĽero without a doubt after his superb performances for Argentinas U20 and AtlĂ©tico during the pre-season. He seems to have his confidence back and plays very good. The partnership with Diego Forlán, SimĂŁo Sabrosa and Maxi RodrĂguez has been very good so far.
Andres Guardado showed his skills during the Gold Cup and Copa América. He's a very good player aswell and will help Deportivo La Coruña to obtain a better place in the table this year. Watch out for him!
Diego Capel is another great talent from Sevillas academy, he's already showed how great he can be during the U20 World Cup. I'm sure this guy will become something special if given playing time. Juande is a great manager and has already played him against Real Madrid in the first Super Cup game. Fast and classy guy this, but it'll most likely take a year or two before he becomes more important for Sevilla.
Edinson Cavani showed that he's a player to watch out for in the future during the U20 World Cup, unfortunately Uruguay wasn't good enough and didn't do well in that tournament. Palermo has a great team however and I'm sure Cavani will do very well over there this season together with the likes of Bosko Jankovic, Fabrizio Miccoli and Amauri. All very good players.
Elano has already showed his vital for Manchester City, with three assists in three games. He's going to become more and more important for Sven Göran Eriksson and for their offense. One of the best buys during this Silly Season was clearly buying this brazillian player. His price will rise, and the bigger clubs will have their eyes on him after the season ofcourse.
Micah Richards, we all saw how good he can be when playing bigger teams in England. This is future England NT-material IMO. Vital for Manchester Citys defence and very important overall for this club. Hard working defender who's very fast aswell. Has had a great start so far and Citys hasn't allowed a goal yet.
Gio dos Santos has had a stunning pre-season in Asia and will become something big behind the likes of Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Messi and Henry IMO. Who doesn't want these players at their squad? This guy has a lot of potential and if he continues to prove himself, well, then we have a big star in the making.
There you go, a few players that'll break through IMO.
