Pinter's debut as the NT coach is 2 weeks away vs Finland. It's a beatable team but they will be a tough nut to crack. They tied Spain 1-1 in the WC qualifiers. Hard to say anything about the team or possible tactics or anything as we haven't seen anything from Pinter yet as the NT coach. He will be holding 1 more training camp for 1 day next Monday and after that he will call up the squad. From what I remember with him at Gyor, his players were very disciplined (players had specific roles and duties, no one had a free role or anything) and they played a great counter game. Maybe that's what we will be seeing in the NT - who knows, we will just have to wait and see.

most Hungarians don't have a job anyways. so there could be plenty coming at 18:00. on the other hand if the match is at 20:30 they complain that there is no more public transport after match to take them home. hard to satisfy the magyarok. :D

He was just exaggerating. It's not the end of anything. BUt it would be a blow to the ongoing reform of Hu foci, which needs that boost.

I completely agree with the other part of his interview, where he says that this Nt has been among the good ones, except for some "hullamvolgyek" - roller-coaster performances. But his fellow teammates have the blame, a good part of it.

Many things.. The way everyone is handeling things in general. I have not followed magyar foci till 2007, but since then I the focus on th NT has not been so intense. We are also very lucky that Orban is a big foci fan and is putting money into it, trying to do everything to make us successful. Since Csanyi took over MLSZ, we have more money then before ect... we will have to wait and see, but I think what Dzsu means is that... because of everything thats going on, the big hype, the big talks about us finally going to make it ect... especially with more teams allowed to qualify... if we dont make it... Huha.... everything is going to go to shit.... ra fognak baszni Csanyi Ba-ek.....Katasztrofa lesz az egesz. Kinda like... there is no hope then for us what so ever.

Anyway, Pinter had another gyules with the club coaches and they came to an agreement on dates to have these osszetartasok with the players.

If this stuff makes a difference, it'll be further down the road anyway. Not in these next qualifiers. Plus money being spent, programs being started can make no difference at all. As Detari pointed out and our not so distant history has proven.

Looks good to me. But, like Pintyo, I do not care much who, as long as we play decent foci.

As for Jujak and others - why in the world would they again start the nonsense hype, that they themselves complained about. "We have always been promising' etc? Why would one do that. Promise nothing, but deliver your maximum.

btw, that Latvia was in out group. The killed us at home!
Again Dárdai Pál was wank at best.

Verpakovskis killed us.

On the final day. We had to beat Poland and Sweden beat Latvia to go through.

ente would tell you Egervári got the closest to qualification in the last 25 years. But it was Gellei!

Latvia beat Sweden...but we couldn't beat Poland. :( Poland beating us thought they were through. But Latvia pulled off a major shock.

Maybe they don't want people to watch the horror show that's about to unfold. :pp
I'm not sure. Maybe it's even wrong! If RTL have the rights or TV2 then I can see them wanting to move the game out of primetime as they won't get much money from sponsors.

But if it's Duna, M1, Sport, Digi etc...it should be shown at 19:30. Which gives enough people to get there for the start. And get home on public transport (in majority cases).

Argentina came and we had a 17:30 or 18:00 kick off and it was just a bunch of school kids.

If anyone sees an explanation for this. Please let me know.

I don't think we can take much from Detari's interview. It's no surprise he is working in the third division of Hungarian football. It's not because things there are more "honest" or that he is trying to help out Hungarian football either. He is simply just a clueless coach and is a drunk. When he was at Ferencvaros he was a disaster. He's been at like 100 different clubs in the past 10 years.

The Lajos Movie:

I hope he can be some sort of help as he was a really big time player and has probably seen a lot of great things in football that he can share with the MLSZ. The coaching thing is just not for him, though.

Agreed with both Ente and Peti. 100%

look at this..

Belgiumban tíz évvel ezelőtt átalakították az utánpótlás-képzést. Azóta játékosaik a nemzetközi piac legkelendőbb árucikkei, rendszeresen szereplői a korosztályos Európa-bajnokságoknak, ontják a tehetségeket és nem a tisztes helytállásért utaznak a brazíliai felnőtt-világbajnokságra.

10 years ago belgium started their youth programming and since then their players are on the top of the market, they play full games in top leagues , are oozing with talent ect

So lets get on it boys...

Yes, Aron, but this whole thing only started yesterday. Furthermore, it is only going on now. See the reboot of the youth education in the last months. As I said, you need the right people with the right skills, so now they're trying to reset it. In other words, it is only happening now. Results at adult and systemic level will take years. Someone who was 12 years old in 2011 will not be in the NT or NB1 in 2014. Biologically, it takes time. So, the results, as was always said, at systemic and adult level, could not be expected sooner than 6-8 years. Biology.
