Scholesy isn't as brilliant as he was quite a few years ago (that absolute peak lasted for about two years) but he still plays at a very high level. One of the best midfielders of this generation, imo. Pirlo was also exceptional but never showed the sort of staying power that Scholes did.

Marc can take a hike although Lampard's bloody brilliant himself, imo.
