I don't know why it's taken me the best part of 3 years too make this thread but it has.

Anyway Burton Albion, a National Conference side, just moved to a brand new stadium, and have ambitions too make it too the football league. Had a terrible start to the season, but beat Kiddersminter today 1-0 too make it 4 straight wins, maybe a late push for the play offs could be on the cards :)

I´ve wondered the same a while ago.

Burton is 7 points away from a play off place. If they can go on with that run it´s not that unlikely. It´s quite funny that I can see video clips of Burton Albion games but nothing about QPR. It must have got something to do with SkyTV or how it is called. On that site here you can watch mtach reports. http://www.conferencefootball.tv/ I have just watched the clip from last weeks win against Crawley Town. Come on Burton! :)

And the Pirelli stadium looks nice.

if you've got Bittorrent you can download all the highlights programmes shown in the UK. the football league show should appear on there this evening

Thanks. A friend told me about that Bittorrent thing, but I´ve got no programme on my computer yet. I think I will do that soon...

Quality site audio, I didn't know of it, and we don't even get highlights of Burton over here.

#10 ·
Yes, that site is good. I´ve watched all the latest matches by Burton now :) The goals of that 3-1 against Stevenage were great.

Burton received a good draw for the FA Cup. I think they should win against Burscough FC as they are two leagues below Burton.

Do the Championship and Premier League clubs enter in the next round?

Yes, they come in at the 3rd round, I really hope Burton make it through to the 3rd round, it would be the 1st time in my lifetime, it would be even better if they got Derby...or even Forest or a premiership team.

I´ll keep my fingers crossed for Burton next Saturday. It´s a home game, so I think they´ll make it into the third round. Do non-league teams have the right to play at home? In Germany the amateur-clubs always have that right. So Chelsea at the Pirelli Stadium would be great ;)

Good too see Burton doing well, no more talk of relegation going around. Those highlights are great, can't wait for the kiddersminster ones too be up now. :)

, nothing like 4 wins on the trot to sort that out, Derby could do with that.
Yes we could :D

can u tell me about one or two of their 'Star' players, do they have any budding George Best or Roy Keane in their ranks?

#19 ·
Local Lad Aaron Webster, is a good player, he's played in just about every position except goalkeeper for the club.

Jon Shaw seems to be scoring most of the goals for the club, and if it's a superstar your after, then that'll be Gary Rowett :) He had retired and was a youth team coach at Derby, but he's come out of retirement and played his 1st competitive game for Burton this weekend, with Clough as manager Burton have managed too get a few ex premiership players in as they come to the end of their careers like Gary Crosby and Andy Sinton.

Went too the Burton website too get some to post but it's down for maintenance :(

It's FA Cup weekend, and Burton are at home to Burscough, must be favourites to go through, but we know about the FA cup Burton we're the giantkillers in the 1st round, hopefully they won't have it done to them tomorrow.

I'll be at Pride Park watching Derby of course, but hopefully, they'll let us no the score at half time and after the game, and hopefully on Sunday I wil be looking out for Burton as well as Derby in the draw :)

Come on Burton.

They should have put this game on the telly on a Sunday, so I could watch it :D

Today I have to cross my fingers for three teams. My 1.FC Nürnberg, QPR and Burton. I hope it´s going to be a good day!

I´m waiting for the video clip of last week´s game against Kidderminster on that conference website.
